Newscafe are aiming to complete 100 good deeds before year end in commemoration of 100 years since Nelson Mandela’s birth. This amazing story is one of the good deeds among many others that they have done.

Aneliswa Ngcobo

Is an eight year old girl who was given a pair of takkies as her shoes were badly worn. Her family is not working and they cannot afford the basics. We asked her what is the one thing you would change in the world? Her response, “I would make sure that every child had a plate of food to eat whenever they wanted.” Hunger is still killing South Africa’s children. About 53 children under the age of five die in South Africa every day — and three-quarters of them do not live to see their first birthday.
