It intrigues you from the outside because it’s a brand new concert venue, but you really don’t know the investment that Sun International has made to the property and to the entertainment industry until you go inside. Being a concert lover, I always look at different aspects of a building, from the technical capabilities of the space, to the hospitality and the functionality of the layout. It’s clear that after this introduction to the space other venues are going to be losing business because of this new addition to Pretoria.

The Time Square Arena that opened this past weekend with the Unison concert showed audiences that there is so much to offer under one roof. This new world-class venue will satisfy all the music and production needs of concert-goers as well as many international acts like The Script who’ll be one of the first international bands performing there early next year.

Don’t worry about parking, restaurants, quickly popping over to Starbucks at Menlyn Maine or finding something to do after the show, Time Square has you covered! The Hotel is the next addition to complete this triple-threat entertainment, food and hospitality venue, surely putting Pretoria back on the entertainment map of South Africa.
