5 Ways to Spring Into a New You

With blossoming flowers, and the hint of long summer days in the breeze, spring has gracefully arrived, offering you a chance to embrace a fresh start. As nature undergoes its transformation, now’s the time to bid goodbye to old habits and find new and fresh undertakings to match the season.

Claire Bowen, brand manager for Shower to Shower says: “The days are getting longer, the weather is getting warmer, and we feel an urge to get out and get active. As we transition from winter to spring, use this time to transition into new habits, routines, and activities. Get ready to jump – or spring – into something new!”

1. Declutter your space
Shed the weight of disorganisation by decluttering your living space. Start small and move room by room, sorting items into categories like ‘keep’, ‘donate,” or “discard.” A decluttered environment makes room for new experiences and ideas to blossom.

2. Explore new hobbies
Make spring the season of exploration. It’s time to push yourself outside of your comfort zone. Consider activities such as gardening, painting, new styles of cooking, or learning a musical instrument. Add to your skill set and keep your mind alive with new interests.

3. Freshen up your routine
Embrace the spirit of spring by starting your mornings with a gentle stretch or yoga session to awaken your body and mind. Follow that up with a nourishing breakfast filled with fresh fruits and whole grains, providing the energy you need for a productive day ahead. Additionally, mix up your grooming schedule with new products and new scents. Try a new body spray to put a pep in your step. Bowen suggests Spring Rain from Shower to Shower.

4. Revamp your fitness routine
With the weather warming up and nature coming alive, take advantage of the outdoors by trading indoor workouts for outdoor activities like jogging, hiking, or biking. Get some fresh air and enjoy the added endorphins!

5. Digital detox
Set aside one day each week to break free from screens and technology. Step away from digital distractions and reconnect with the real world around you.
