From the moment I arrived at The 12 Apostles Hotel, I was swept into a world where attention to detail and a genuine commitment to guest satisfaction shone through at every turn. The hotel, nestled between the spectacular mountains and the serene waters of Camps Bay, already set the tone with its stunning views and elegant ambiance and the experience solidified the fact that number of stars a property has is not the only indication of a top-tier property.

Upon check-in, I was greeted by a warm and professional team who made me feel like royalty. As a guest, you’re not just another face at the reception, you’re welcomed into an experience that’s entirely personalised to your needs. I couldn’t help but notice the peaceful atmosphere, which perfectly matched the beauty of the surrounding landscape.

However, it was when I found myself under the weather during my stay that the true magic of the 12 Apostles service came to life. After letting the hotel know that I needed a prescription printed, I was completely taken aback by the lengths the staff went to ensure my comfort. A few minutes later, a staff member appeared at my door, delivering my prescription in an envelope placed on a silver tray, held delicately in their hands and presented with white gloves. They then offered for a member of staff to go get the medication for me, which was also delivered to my room. The level of care and attention to detail was something I had never experienced before. But the exceptional service didn’t stop there.

They ensure that my medicine arrived promptly, a thoughtful gesture which felt incredibly personal and spoke volumes about the hotel’s commitment to its guests’ well-being. I truly felt taken care of in a way that only a top-tier establishment can provide.

And if that wasn’t enough, I was welcomed with an array of delicious treats and balloons in my room to celebrate my birthday which had just passed. The decadent treats were a delightful surprise that made me feel incredibly special. It was clear that the hotel not only cared for its guests’ needs but also sought to elevate their experience beyond expectations.

The service throughout the remainder of my stay continued to impress. Every interaction, whether with housekeeping, the concierge, or dining staff, was characterised by a level of professionalism and warmth that made me feel like an honoured guest. The small touches, like a friendly greeting and a tailored recommendation for dinner, added to the sense of luxury and personal attention.

As I checked out, I felt a bittersweet sense of leaving behind a place where I had experienced not just a stay, but a truly memorable journey of care, attention, and kindness. The 12 Apostles Hotel stands out not only for its world-class facilities and stunning location but also for its service, which makes every guest feel not just welcome, but cherished.
