In a world where reliable power sources are essential, especially in a country where loadshedding is prominent, and substation faults are not uncommon, the Anker 535 Portable Power Station has become a lifesaver! With its incredible features and dependable performance, it stands as a beacon of light in dark times.

Design and Build:

At first glance, the Anker 535 Power Station presents itself as a sturdy companion. Encased in a durable plastic shell, it has an ergonomic handle and rubberised feet for stability. Despite its build, it’s designed with portability in mind, ensuring ease of transport for various outdoor adventures or emergency situations.

The front panel has a host of power outlets, including two AC ports, three USB-A ports, one USB-C port, and a car outlet. This array of connectivity options caters to a wide range of devices, and variety of needs around the home, or when traveling especially for camping enthusiasts.

An integrated LED light bar adds a practical touch, offering illumination during low-light scenarios or as an emergency beacon, which makes it truly practical. The design speaks to Anker’s commitment to providing functional solutions for everyday challenges, and the weight of the station reinforces its long-lasting utility.

Powerful Performance:

Underneath its sleek exterior lies a powerhouse. The Anker 535 boasts a LiFePO4 battery, known for its longevity and safety. With an impressive 3000 battery cycles and a 5-year warranty, it ensures prolonged usage without compromising on reliability, and offers true peace of mind.

The Power Station’s smart display provides vital information at a glance, including battery capacity, input/output status, and estimated recharge time. This intuitive interface enhances user experience, allowing for informed decision-making because we’ve all become more conscious about power management.

Powered by advanced lithium iron phosphate batteries, the Anker 535 offers six times more usage than any of its competitors. Its ability to support small-to-medium devices, coupled with a quick 2.5-hour recharge time, ensures uninterrupted power supply for essential electronics as Eskom continues to let us down.

User-Friendly Features:

Anker prioritises user convenience with thoughtful features embedded throughout the Station. The inclusion of a power-saving mode prevents energy wastage by automatically shutting off once devices are fully charged, promoting efficiency and sustainability.

Also, pass-through charging and Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) allows facilitate seamless solar recharge, making it an ideal companion for outdoor excursions or off-grid usage. The quiet operation ensures a peaceful environment without compromising on performance, now charge that MacBook, and sit back and enjoy that movie!

Should you buy this? Absolutely!

Overall, I’m impressed. Considering having tried other products in the past, I need to admit that the Anker 535 Portable Power Station stands as a testament of reliability. Especially considering its utility and reliability in light of emergencies that might occur in the dark, this product delivers unparalleled performance.

Its initial investment may seem steep, but over time, it does pay for itself as it offers the peace of mind and versatility which makes it a worthwhile addition to any household, and should you recharge it with the solar panel, then you truly have no reason not to invest in it. To me, the Anker 535 Portable Power Station earns its place as a dependable ally in the face of uncertain power situations.
