After a successful first beach clean-up led by Boardwalk Mall and Boardwalk Hotel last year, the hospitality destinations have committed to conducting these on a regular basis and are calling on the public to join in keeping the environment clean.

The November beach clean-up event in the area around Hobie Beach was a great success, with over 70 participants and more than 12 wheelie bins of trash filled in an hour. Volunteers are invited to join on an eco-crusade once again to help retain Hobie Beach’s Blue Flag status which is crucial for tourism.

Volunteers should wear sunscreen and comfortable clothing.
