This renowned Fashion & Textiles Trade Fair will be hosted at the CTICC from 10 – 12 September 2024. Allfashion sourcing Cape Town is a business-oriented Fashion & Textiles trade show combining African Creativity, Design & Manufacturing with International Sourcing Options.  The event highlight is the 2024 Young Designers’ Competition.

Visitors have full access to the textile and fashion industry all under one roof. Renowned for its diverse and high-quality textiles, allfashion sourcing is a trusted destination for an array of products from luxurious fabrics, leather, and versatile materials to fasteners.

Since textiles and textile products account for South Africa’s sixth largest import and the textile industry is our country’s third largest employer, this event holds much gravitas for the sector.

At the heart of this vibrant event lies the Centre Stage, a focal point where industry leaders, designers, trend forecasters, and emerging talents converge to showcase innovation, trends, and expertise.

This year’s event offers attendees a world of thrilling information by way of:

  • Trend Talks
  • Product Showcases
  • Exhibitor Fashion Showcases
  • Industry Focused talks
  • Sustainability-focused panel discussions
  • Crowning of the allfashion sourcing Young Designer Competition winner

Already celebrating its 7th year, the Young Designer Competition in partnership with ENS Law Firm and Cape Town Fashion Council sets the stage for our world’s future designers with prize value of R270 000. Oyama Gonuntebe, 2023’s winner, stole the show with a futuristic sustainable-centric collection. This year’s competition brief encourages fashion students to transcend the boundaries of imitation and delve into the vast realm of creativity Through the Lens of Africa, creating a sustainable fashion collection that not only celebrates the rich heritage of local craftsmanship but also fosters a commitment to the environment.

The brief spearheaded by Cyril Naicker, one of South Africa’s leading fashion forecasters, brand accelerators, and international fashion specialist, is based on his mission for fair and ethical fashion practices, which aligns well with the mantra of the overall event itself.

What sets this year’s event apart from previous years are compelling categories including Apparel & Clothing; Intimate apparel, swimwear, sportswear, athleisure; Leather Goods; Footwear & Accessories; Sustainable Fashion; Licensing & Branding and much more.

As the premier marketplace for the global textile and fashion community, allfashion sourcing 2024 serves as a dynamic platform where sustainable African creativity, design excellence, and international sourcing options unite.
