Get ready to double the excitement as the Geek Gathering Market introduces the all-new Double Dutch Incarnation – 1 Market, 2 Days, 3 Spaces and Double The Fun.

The Geek Gathering and Linden Night Shop Markets will be expanding with the markets set to take place on Saturday and Sunday, offering attendees more vendors for an extra exciting shopping experience, double the fun, and a weekend full of more geek culture celebrations.

To kick off this exciting new expansion, the first Double Dutch market will take place with the Night Shop market on Saturday, 7th and Sunday, 8th of September.

The Geek Gathering Market will expand into a two-day extravaganza, bringing together an eclectic mix of vendors, artists, and creators. The market will feature a wide range of geek-inspired merchandise, including comic books, collectibles, art, apparel, and more. With two full days of festivities, attendees will have ample time to explore and enjoy everything the market has to offer. Whether you’re a fan of sci-fi, fantasy, anime, or gaming, you’ll find something special at this one-of-a-kind event.

Highlights Include:

– More Vendors: Browse a diverse selection of products from local and regional vendors, including exclusive items you won’t find anywhere else.

– Live Entertainment: Enjoy live music and interactive performances throughout the weekend.

– Food Trucks & Treats: Satisfy your cravings with a variety of food trucks offering delicious options for every palate.

The Geek Gathering Market has always been a haven for enthusiasts of all things geek, and the Double Dutch Market Weekend is set to take this experience to the next level. Whether you’re a longtime fan or new to the scene, this is the perfect opportunity to immerse yourself in a vibrant community and discover new passions.

Event Details:
Dates: Saturday, September 7 & Sunday, September 8.
Time:  5:00 PM to late on Saturday and from 11:00am to 4:00pm on Sunday.

Venues:
Geek Central at Garden on 4th – 68 4th Avenue, Linden.
The Writers Block – The Linden Library, 32 6th Street, Linden.
TAG Block – 65 on 4th, Linden.

Entry: A voluntary pet donation of any kind (pet food, a blanket, pillow, toy etc,) OR Cash, which we will gratefully given to pets in need!

Cash and cards accepted.

Currently we are raising funds for Fourways Veterinary Hospital and its beneficiaries.
Previous beneficiaries: Fairlands Ferals, Bedfordview Veterinary clinic and beneficiaries, Greenside Veterinary clinic and their beneficiaries.
