Georgia Neves is not just chasing a dream – she’s rewriting the script.

Born in Mpumalanga and raised between Walmer in Gqeberha and Pretoria East, Georgia Neves is a dynamic South African actress, comedian, and writer currently making waves in Los Angeles. At just 24, she is already proving that South African creativity belongs on the world stage. With a signature blend of vulnerability, wit, and originality, she’s emerging as one of the most refreshing young voices in entertainment today.

Georgia’s bold approach to performance is more than just entertaining — it’s magnetic. Whether she’s delivering punchlines in packed comedy clubs or crafting emotionally charged characters for screen and stage, she brings something rare: a fearless, quirky, emotionally rich voice that invites laughter, reflection, and connection.

🎬 From SA Streets to Studio Lights

A graduate of the prestigious New York Film Academy (BFA, Cum Laude), Georgia has trained in both dramatic and comedic performance, mastering everything from screen acting to advanced improv. She co-founded the LA-based sketch and improv group Sketch Marks and is a regular performer at Flappers Comedy Club, where she continues to sharpen her stand-up chops and develop original content.

Her short film Searching for Grace — which she wrote, produced, and starred in — earned her the Special Jury Award for Best International Short Film at the Thilsri International Film Festival and was a finalist at the New York International Film Awards. The film is a powerful showcase of her ability to blend heartache and humour in equal measure — a true testament to her range as a performer and storyteller.

✨ What Sets Georgia Apart

Georgia’s star continues to rise. Her next major projects include:

  • A lead role in the fantasy stage production Sword Play: The Bladesmen of Pyrus Pri

  • A feature film Natasha Mail Order Bride: Escape to America – The Movie

  • A new short film, Black Peel, currently in post-production and aimed at the 2025 international festival circuit

She’s also trained under one of the original members of The Groundlings, the iconic LA-based comedy theatre whose alumni include Will Ferrell, Melissa McCarthy, and Kristen Wiig. Georgia is now set to perform at the historic venue herself — a full-circle moment for a creative who has always been drawn to storytelling that breaks boundaries and builds bridges.

💡 A Creative Lens Informed by Home

Everything Georgia creates is shaped by her roots — the people, the places, and the energy of growing up in South Africa. Her journey from White River to the world stage is not just inspiring — it’s deeply relatable. She brings that South African flair, warmth, and grit into every project, proving that our stories — when told boldly and authentically — can resonate anywhere.

She’s more than a performer. She’s a natural collaborator, a voice for her generation, and a proudly South African creative blazing her own path across multiple mediums — from stand-up stages to streaming screens.

📢 The World Is Watching — And Georgia’s Just Getting Started

Georgia Neves is the kind of talent who doesn’t just enter a room — she fills it with presence, purpose, and possibility. As she continues to build her career in Los Angeles, she remains rooted in the values that shaped her: resilience, humour, and the power of an original voice.

She’s proof that South African stories matter — and that when you dare to tell yours, the world listens.

Watch this space — because Georgia Neves is only getting started.
