Get Ready! COTTON FEST Reveals Phase One Artist Lineup

The countdown to the sixth edition of Cotton Fest has officially begun! And the faculty team just dropped phase one of the highly anticipated line-up for next month’s gathering, and it’s already looking insane!

Happening in the heart of Joburg on Saturday, April 26th, the University of Cotton Fest is back like it never left! As always the festival will bring together both big-name stars and fresh and emerging new talent, all performing live across three hype-filled high-energy stages.

Cotton Fest, initially created to highlight the mix of different music styles and bridge gaps between local scenes, the event continues to also celebrate fashion and sport – it’s full-on vibes!

And this year is so much more – the urban music, fashion and sports takeover is about to get wild with over 100 acts showcasing South Africa’s hottest young artists and creators hitting the Cotton Fest Stage, the Bunker Stage (powered by Play Energy) and The Lot Stage (powered by Jägermeister).

The 2025 edition of Cotton Fest is powered by Coke Studio, Youth X by Nedbank, Flying Fish, Extreme, Klipdrift, Johannesburg Housing Company, Jägermeister, Play Energy, Vuse and Velo. Exclusive broadcasting partners are MTV base and YFM.

Limited PHASE 2 tickets are now available via Webtickets, CottonFest.co.za and Pick ‘n Pay outlets nationwide.
