Hi-Tec, the brand that champions adventure and the great outdoors, is calling on thrill-seekers, explorers, and nature lovers to share their bucket list dreams in the brand’s latest competition, Moments That Matter. This once-in-a-lifetime opportunity will see one lucky winner crowned the next Hi-Tec ambassador and awarded R100,000 to turn their ultimate adventure into reality.
“At Hi-Tec, we believe that life’s most cherished memories are made in the great outdoors. Whether it’s conquering a peak, running a big race, or embarking on an awe-inspiring trail journey. Now, we’re giving one aspiring adventurer the chance to make their dream adventure come true and inspire others along the way. If you’re thinking of entering, seize the moment – this is your time. Take the leap, and we’ll be with you every step of the way,” says Louise White, Integrated Brand Manager at Hi-Tec.

How to enter:
To be in the running for this incredible opportunity, entrants must submit a 1-2 minute video introducing themselves, showcasing their love for adventure, and explaining their dream bucket list experience. Entries can be submitted in one of two ways:
Email: Send your video, along with evidence of past adventures (photos, videos, blog posts, or links to relevant social media content), to moments@hi-tec.co.za.
Social Media: Post your video on Instagram or TikTok, ensuring your profile is public, and tag@Hitec_sa in your post.
For those looking to make their submission even more compelling, a written motivation (up to 300 words) explaining why they should be the next Hi-Tec ambassador is optional but encouraged.
Entries will be assessed based on the following criteria:
·       Your Big Adventure (40%) – The ambition and creativity behind your bucket list goal.
·       Your Personality & Storytelling (30%) – How well you bring your passion to life.
·       Your Impact & Influence (20%) – Your ability to inspire and share your journey with others (a minimum of 500 followers on Instagram or TikTok is required).
·       Your Commitment as an Ambassador (10%) – A passion for adventure and a willingness to represent Hi-Tec through content creation and engagement.

What’s expected from the winner?
The selected Hi-Tec ambassador will be required to create at least four pieces of content per month showcasing their adventure, wear sponsored Hi-Tec gear throughout their journey and attend at least one Hi-Tec event or campaign shoot. The ambassador will need to document their experience through videos, photos, and social media updates, participate in a professionally filmed docu-style video, share behind-the-scenes insights, their adventure preparation, and key moments from their journey.
“This is an unmissable opportunity for outdoor enthusiasts and thrill-seekers to turn their bucket-list expedition into a reality, while inspiring a wider audience. Whether your goal is to conquer a mountain, venture to new landscapes, or push your personal boundaries, Hi-Tec wants to hear your story,” White concludes.
Ready to embark on the adventure of a lifetime? Submit your entry today and make Moments That Matter together.
