Restrictions of Hazardous Substances
Complying with stringent European directives, HONOR goes above and beyond to eliminate harmful substances like Brominated Flame Retardants (BFR), Chlorinated Flame Retardants (CFR), and PVC. By adhering to regulations and restricting additional potentially harmful substances, HONOR reduces negative environmental impacts and promotes material recycling.

Energy Efficiency
The HONOR Magic V2 uses power-efficient components and software that intelligently manage power consumption, these measures can reduce greenhouse gas emissions during the use phase of the device. In addition, the Magic V2 including the charger meets energy efficiency requirements of EU ErP Directive (EU)2019/1782 and Commission Regulation (EC) No. 1275/2008 and (EU) 801/2013.

Material Selection
There is minimized materials used for the product and packaging and most of the material is recyclable and can be recycled easily at the disposal stage. In addition, the packaging is from FSC certified paper, all of which the packaging and manual is printed by soy ink. In order to reduce CO2 emissions, low carbon materials are recycled, and bio-based material have been selected in the product. For example, the mainboard frame and speaker box housing are made of bio-based plastic (bio-based content is more than 30%).
