Chery South Africa is pleased to announce that the all-new Tiggo Cross is scheduled to launch locally before the end of 2024, bringing a stylish new exterior design and fresh technology to the country’s highly competitive compact SUV segment.

Having turned heads during its South African premiere at the 2024 Festival of Motoring in Gauteng, this feature-packed newcomer is set to slot in between the immensely popular Tiggo 4 Pro and the likewise strong-selling Tiggo 7 Pro in November 2024, further supplementing Chery’s already robust presence in this important part of the market.

“We’re pleased to confirm that the new Tiggo Cross recently introduced to South Africans at the Festival of Motoring will indeed be on local roads before the end of the year. While we don’t want to give away too much just yet, we can say we’re extremely confident that buyers will appreciate the value this stylish new model will offer,” said Verene Petersen, National Marketing Manager at Chery South Africa.

Set to be backed by Chery’s industry-leading 10-year/1-million kilometre engine warranty as well as a comprehensive 5-year/150 000 km vehicle warranty (not to mention roadside assistance for a full 5 years), the new Tiggo Cross boasts a modern exterior design that incorporates the brand’s latest family face courtesy of features such as a bold diamond-patterned grille and slim yet attention-grabbing LED headlights.

The new Tiggo Cross furthermore features a suitably sleek silhouette, along with a strong shoulder line, sporty alloy wheels and an overall assertive stance. Around back, the new compact SUV’s striking tail-lamp design stretches across the tailgate, adding visual width and delivering a particularly distinctive lighting signature at night.

Inside the highly advanced new Tiggo Cross, Chery fans can expect to find a similar blend of modern aesthetics and user-centred functionality, with the sophisticated and spacious cabin playing host to an impressive array of technological, convenience and safety features.

More information about the all-new Chery Tiggo Cross – including powertrain details, local specifications and, of course, pricing – will be released closer to this exciting model’s official launch in South Africa in November 2024.
