New Citroën Aircrews SUV: Clever, Comfortable & Cool

Offering bold SUV versatility with muscular design and a class-leading drivetrain, the new Citroën Aircross represents excellent value in the segment. It’s simply clever, comfortable, and cool!

Citroën’s family B-SUV offers comfort and versatility for up to seven people. The popular compact cross-over segment is aimed at the middle-class family, requiring space and practicality for children-friendly adventures, whilst still serving up a stylish package of innovation and safety for young executive parents. The Aircross is one of only a few SUVs to offer third-row seating and packs a host of technology in typical Citroën comfort in a compelling value proposition.

Unmistakably Citroën, the new Aircross is a tough and distinctive SUV available in five-seat configuration as standard with the option of a seven-seat version. The 5+2 seating configuration offers increased versatility, while also allowing the additional seating to be easily removed.

The additional seating capacity makes the Aircross SUV one of only a couple of 7-seaters at the price point while still offering attention-grabbing design, great performance, and the latest technology to make it much more than just a practical SUV.

Exciting news for the budget-conscious customer is that the versatile Aircross SUV is now more affordable than ever: a new entry-level version powered by a 61kW Puretech engine paired with a five-speed manual transmission is priced very attractively at only R269,900. This new engine option joins the lineup alongside the powerful 1.2 Gen 3 Puretech 81kW turbo engine, which delivers an impressive 205Nm of torque from just 1,750 rpm and is available with a six-speed automatic transmission.

The Aircross MAX versions now come equipped with LED projector headlamps for improved visibility and automatic air conditioning with climate control, ensuring a comfortable driving experience. Inside, new features include power-folding mirrors, rear air-conditioning vents, and ISOFIX child seat anchors, all designed to enhance the comfort and convenience of both drivers and passengers.

Additionally, safety has been prioritised with six airbags, Hill Hold Control, Electronic Stability Program (ESP), and a Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS), available depending on the specification grade.

Designed with South African drivers in mind, the updated Aircross SUV continues to offer a perfect blend of practicality and sophistication. With a spacious interior, including a 444-litre boot capacity (511 litres in the seven-seater option), the Aircross is perfect for families and adventurers alike.

Citroën’s advanced suspension system ensures a smooth ride, while the 10-inch HD touchscreen infotainment system offers wireless Apply CarPlay® and Android AutoTM connectivity. The MyCitroën Connect app further enhances the driving experience, allowing for seamless vehicle management.

In addition to the competitive pricing, Citroën South Africa is offering metallic paint and a stylish dual-tone roof at no extra cost on the MAX specification grade. Customers can also enjoy peace of mind with a four-year/60,000km Service Plan and a five-years/100,000km warranty included in the purchase price.

In addition, the Citroën Aircross SUV is backed by Stellantis’ WePledge customer care promise. Over and above the manufacturer 5 years/100,000km warranty, Citroën offers a mobility guarantee during the warranty should the Aircross require more than 48 hours at the dealership or 30 days at an approved repairer due to a delay in parts or technical support. In addition, an optional security detail for roadside assistance callouts can be requested. These additional benefits ensure peace of mind and exceptional ownership experience.
