Jayden Davis and David Dent have officially been selected to represent South Africa at the upcoming World Championships for kayak cross and slalom, set to take place in Krakow during the July school holidays. Earlier this year, the duo competed at the Africa Championships for kayak cross and slalom, held in Underberg over two competitive weekends. It was here—amid challenging waters and fierce continental competition—that their talent truly came to the fore.

Selection to the national team followed, placing them among just four under-18 paddlers chosen to represent South Africa at the prestigious global event.
