Carnival City has your weekends in March sorted with a diverse line up of events and entertainment. From the Ekurhuleni Rhythm and Food Festival making a triumphant return on 1 March, to a Night With The Stars in the Big Top Arena, to gospel and vibrant maskandi, there’s a show for everyone.

Ekurhuleni Rhythm and Food Festival – Saturday, 1 March 2025

 

 

 

 

 

The Ekurhuleni Rhythm and Food Festival returns with a fresh and exciting relaunch. Set for Saturday, March 1 2025 at Carnival City Lawns, this dynamic festival brings together a fusion of music, culture, and culinary delights.

Highlights includes a stellar lineup of South Africa’s finest musical talents, including headlining performances by Makhadzi, Kabza De Small, DJ Zinhle, Sjava, Mlindo the Vocalist, Black Motion, Mas Musiq, Earful Soul, Dladla Regal, Morda, Emtee, Grego Villa, Mzuxolo Mqeku, Last Born, and Umsholozi, with charismatic MC Mark Khoza.

Food enthusiasts will be treated to a wide array of culinary experiences, including wine tasting and a beer garden, offering a taste of South Africa’s vibrant food culture.

The festival will also feature cultural displays and exhibitions showcasing the rich heritage and traditions of the region. Keeping in line with the growing emphasis on sustainability, the festival will include eco-friendly initiatives to promote awareness about sustainability and environmental conservation.

VIP guests will enjoy exclusive access to premium areas, complete with a range of additional perks to make their experience unforgettable.

Mark your calendars for Saturday, 8 March 2025 because that’s when Manifest is bringing audiences five of the top most influential artists of the year together under one roof at the Big Top Arena.

Promising to be the ultimate music experience, the line up is already weighted with Oscar Mbo and Mawhoo, with more to be announced soon. Expect an electrifying atmosphere with incredible music, special guest appearances, and surprises throughout the night.

The arena is sure to be at capacity with 4 500 fans and the promoters are ready to add a second night to meet the demand for tickets.

Khuzani, often hailed as the King of Maskandi, will lead the celebrations, bringing his unparalleled energy, magnetic stage presence, and deep love for Zulu culture to the stage.
