Ignite the flames of passion with a Valentine’s Day escape to The Maslow, Sandton, where a romantic dinner retreat will ensure love blossoms.

It’s a leap year, which means ladies can take the reins and book their partners on an enchanting getaway to discover the ultimate Sandton haven. The four-star hotel is offering a sumptuous Valentine’s Day package, with dinner at the Lacuna Bistro, followed by a night in a luxury queen room.

The three-course menu by Executive Chef Ofentse Morake and his team starts with a choice of mushroom arancini, with parmesan and mushroom risotto balls, Caesar salad, or fried calamari with lemon aioli and chimichurri. Grilled sirloin with mushroom sauce, charred broccoli and potato pavé is sure to be a popular main course choice, but there’s also panko-encrusted chicken with tomato salsa, spinach cream and fettucine or vegetarian gnocchi with green pea cream, herb oil and parmesan.

For something even sweeter than your Valentine, tuck into a lemon meringue or chocolate opera cake with berry compote for dessert. The offer, which includes a bottle of wine in the room on arrival.

Book your Valentine’s getaway from R3,685 per room per night, inclusive of the signature Maslow Sandton buffet breakfast. For enquiries, call 010 226 4815 or email lacuna.bistro@suninternational.com

Your romantic rendezvous awaits.
