Gateway Theatre of Shopping has officially welcomed Total Ninja, Africa’s largest obstacle and inflatable adventure park, to its growing entertainment offering. This marks the first Total Ninja venue in KwaZulu-Natal, giving families, fitness enthusiasts, and thrill-seekers an opportunity to experience a world-class adventure park right in the heart of Umhlanga.

An exhilarating new entertainment destination

Total Ninja Gateway provides visitors of all ages with the chance to test their strength, agility, and endurance on a variety of obstacles and inflatable challenges. Designed for fun and fitness, the park caters to individuals, families, and groups, offering an engaging experience that encourages movement, teamwork and friendly competition.

Inspired by ninja warrior-style competitions, activities include state of the art truss obstacles such as Monkey Swings, Spider Walls, Tilting Logs, Floating Bridges and of course the iconic Warped Wall. Visitors can also take part in team-building sessions, celebrate special occasions with themed birthday parties, or enjoy family-friendly fun that promotes an active lifestyle.

More Than Just Fun: A Community-Focused Space

Total Ninja is committed to fostering a sense of community by creating an inclusive space for people of all ages and abilities. The park has collaborated with organisations such as Reach For A Dream and Sizwile School of the Deaf to provide engaging and uplifting experiences for children and communities in need.

“Total Ninja is more than just an adventure park – it’s a place where families, friends, and colleagues can bond, challenge themselves and celebrate their achievements. We’re thrilled to bring this unique experience to Durban and look forward to welcoming everyone to unleash their inner Ninja,” says Dorita Correia, owner of Total Ninja.

Visitors can also take advantage of free Wi-Fi and relax at the on-site Total Ninja Café, enjoy a fully halaal eatery offering a selection of healthy snacks, refreshing smoothies and hearty meals. Plus, Discovery Vitality members earn 100 Vitality points per visit, making fitness even more rewarding.

“Another first for KwaZulu-Natal has arrived! Gateway Theatre of Shopping continues to set the standard as the premier shopping and lifestyle destination in the region. Our commitment to curating unique offerings, world-class brands, and exceptional family-friendly experiences remains at the heart of our strategy, and we can’t wait to welcome visitors to this exciting new destination,” says Feysel Potgieter, General Manager at Gateway.

Total Ninja at Gateway is open seven days a week, all year-round, with the exception of Easter Sunday, Christmas day and Boxing day. To book an adventure, visit www.totalninja.co.za.
