Some evenings are best enjoyed slowly, with a glass of exceptional wine, delicious canapés and good company. On Thursday, 5 November 2026, Arbour Courtyard Kitchen invites guests to enjoy just that at a special wine-tasting experience in Birdhaven, Johannesburg.

Set beneath the twinkling fairy lights of Arbour’s charming courtyard, the evening will bring together six wine estates, great music and a relaxed atmosphere designed for connecting, unwinding and discovering new favourites.

Six Wine Estates, One Special Evening

Wine lovers will have the opportunity to explore selections from six participating estates: Springfield, Bruce Jack, AA Badenhorst, Oak Valley, Rijk’s and Jordan.

Each estate will bring its own selection of wines for guests to taste and savour. Whether discovering something new or enjoying the pleasure of a memorable glass, visitors can move between the participating estates at their leisure.

Canapés will complement the tasting experience, while a DJ sets the mood for an evening of music and conversation.

Courtyard Charm After Dark

The setting is part of the appeal. With the courtyard illuminated by fairy lights, Arbour promises a welcoming space to spend time with friends, meet fellow wine lovers and enjoy the atmosphere.

More than simply a wine tasting, the event brings together food, music and wine in one relaxed setting. It is an invitation to pause, unwind and savour the moment, one sip at a time.

Everything You Need to Know

Arbour Courtyard Kitchen’s wine evening takes place on Thursday, 5 November 2026, from 18h00 at its Birdhaven venue.

Tickets cost R325 per person and include the wine tasting and canapés.

Bookings are essential. To reserve your place, email info@arbourcafe.co.za.

With six wine estates to explore, canapés to enjoy and a courtyard glowing beneath fairy lights, this promises to be an evening made for good wine, great company and a little Arbour magic.
