South Africa’s comedy calendar is about to get one of its biggest highlights back as comedy powerhouse Celeste Ntuli prepares to return with the 2026 edition of Celeste & Da Big Dudes.
Taking place on Saturday, 8 August 2026, at Emperors Palace, the much-loved comedy showcase promises another unforgettable evening packed with laughter, storytelling and some of South Africa’s finest comedic talent.
Now firmly established as one of the country’s premier live comedy events, Celeste & Da Big Dudes has evolved into more than just a stand-up show. It has become an annual celebration of South African humour, culture and authentic storytelling, giving audiences the opportunity to experience established comedy icons alongside exciting rising stars.

This year’s edition features an impressive lineup that brings together some of South Africa’s most recognisable comedy voices.
