Clearwater Mall Sets the Stage for a Weekend of Rhythm, Wellness and Connection This April

There’s a certain magic that happens when music drifts through an open space at sunset — when conversation softens, laughter lingers a little longer, and the ordinary transforms into something memorable. This April, that magic finds a home at the Piazza, as Clearwater Mall curates a weekend experience designed to move both body and spirit.

Blending live music with mindful movement, Clearwater Mall is reimagining what a weekend outing can feel like — less rushed, more intentional, and deeply connected to the moment.

Friday Evenings, Rewritten in Sound

As the workweek winds down on Friday, 17 April, the Piazza evolves into a live soundtrack of calm sophistication. From 17:00 to 21:00, visitors are invited to settle into an evening where music doesn’t overpower — it complements.

This is not a concert. It’s an atmosphere.

Opening the evening is the soulful pairing of Elandri, joined by Casper on saxophone, setting a tone that is both warm and immersive. Their performance flows effortlessly into the stylings of guitarist Theo Klassen, whose instrumental sets weave continuity throughout the night.

The intention is clear: to create a space where music enhances connection — where conversations deepen, meals feel richer, and time slows down just enough to be noticed.

“Live music adds a special element to an evening out, creating a setting where people can slow down and enjoy the moment,” says Prianka Singh Rodgers, Marketing Manager at Clearwater Mall. “The Piazza offers a beautiful space for this kind of experience, where great food and music come together naturally.”

Surrounded by the Piazza’s selection of restaurants, diners are encouraged to book ahead — not just for a table, but for an experience that lingers long after the last note fades.

Saturday Morning, Reimagined Through Movement

If Friday is about unwinding, Saturday, 18 April is about awakening.

From 08:00 to 09:30, the Piazza transforms once again — this time into a space of energy, movement and shared wellness. In partnership with Burn Fitness, Clearwater Mall introduces the FAB FIT Silent Mash-up Class, a carefully curated blend of mindfulness and motion.

The session is structured in two halves:

  • 45 minutes of yoga, grounding participants in breath and balance
  • 45 minutes of Zumba, elevating energy through rhythm and movement

But what sets this experience apart is its immersive design. Participants move through each segment using wireless headsets, creating a focused, almost cinematic environment where distractions fall away and connection — to self and others — takes centre stage.

At just R50 per person, the experience extends beyond the workout. Each ticket includes a post-session breakfast at Doppio Zero, offering a choice between a bacon and egg roll or a croissant, served with coffee or tea — a simple but thoughtful way to close the experience.

“FAB FIT has become a favourite on our events calendar because it offers a fun and accessible way to prioritise wellness,” adds Singh Rodgers. “It is also a great opportunity to connect with others in a relaxed, social setting.”

With only 100 მონაწილant spaces available, the event remains intentionally intimate — encouraging early booking and a sense of shared participation.

More Than Events — A Shift in Experience

What Clearwater Mall is offering this April goes beyond scheduled programming. It reflects a broader shift in how people choose to spend their time — moving away from passive outings toward experiences that feel meaningful, social and restorative.

Friday night becomes a moment to reconnect.
Saturday morning becomes a chance to reset.

Together, they form a weekend narrative that feels both balanced and intentional.

In a city that rarely slows down, the Piazza becomes a rare pause — a place where music, movement and community converge without pressure, without noise, and without excess.

A Piazza That Lives and Breathes

As April unfolds, Clearwater Mall continues to position the Piazza as more than just a physical space — it becomes a living, breathing hub of culture, wellness and shared experience.

Because sometimes, the best weekends aren’t the loudest or the busiest.

They’re the ones where you find yourself exactly where you need to be — good music in the background, good people around you, and just enough movement to remind you you’re alive.
