Disney Channel Packs July With New Shows, Movies and Family Adventures

From the premiere of Rabbit Hole to blockbuster movies and brand-new series, Disney Channel is delivering a month filled with magical entertainment this July.

School holidays are about to become even more exciting.

This July, Disney Channel is rolling out a packed programming lineup featuring brand-new premieres, family favourites, magical adventures and blockbuster animated films. From a fresh local-style variety show to beloved Disney classics and exciting new series, viewers of all ages will have plenty to look forward to throughout the month.

Leading the schedule is the premiere of Rabbit Hole, alongside movie favourites including Moana, Frozen 2, LEGO Disney Princess: The Castle Quest and the brand-new Descendants: Wicked Wonderland.

Rabbit Hole makes its Disney Channel debut

Premiering from 20 July, Monday to Thursday at 20:30 CAT, Rabbit Hole introduces viewers to a ten-part variety show featuring a lineup of well-known digital creators.

The series brings together popular creators for entertaining collaborations, fun challenges, games and performances, creating a fresh entertainment experience for Disney Channel audiences.

Friday movie nights return

Disney Channel’s weekly movie slot continues every Friday at 17:00 CAT with a collection of much-loved Disney adventures.

The July movie lineup includes:

  • 3 July – Moana (2016)
    Moana answers the Ocean’s call to find the demigod Maui after a dangerous curse threatens her island.
  • 10 July – LEGO Disney Princess: The Castle Quest
    Tiana, Moana, Snow White, Rapunzel and Ariel unite after Gaston launches a plan to take over their kingdoms.
  • 17 July – Frozen 2 (2019)
    Elsa, Anna, Kristoff, Olaf and Sven journey beyond Arendelle in search of answers about their past.
  • 31 July – Descendants: Wicked Wonderland (2026)
    The latest chapter follows Red, daughter of the Queen of Hearts, and Chloe, Cinderella’s daughter, after the events of The Rise of Red as students at Auradon Prep.

Evening entertainment continues

The fun doesn’t stop after the afternoon movies.

At 19:30 CAT, Disney Channel presents additional viewing highlights throughout July.

On 3 July, Teen Beach Movie follows surfers Mack and Brady after a magical tidal wave transports them back to the 1960s.

Beginning 6 July, weekdays feature Miraculous World, showcasing every Miraculous World special in a curated school holiday event.

Fans preparing for the upcoming Season 6 finale of Miraculous Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir can also enjoy The Lore of Miraculous (Part 1) on 11 and 12 July, starting at 06:19 CAT. The monthly special revisits important storylines and mythology from the series.

Weekend adventures for younger viewers

Weekend programming also receives several exciting additions.

Starting 4 July at 14:15 CAT, Watch the WHOLE Thang: Vampirina brings viewers every episode of the popular series, following Vee after leaving Transylvania to attend boarding school.

Also premiering on weekends from 4 July at 15:45 CAT, Magicampers introduces young adventurers Darly and Loomis as they explore a magical island filled with extraordinary creatures and exciting quests.

New series join the lineup

Disney Channel is also expanding its weekday programming with two additional series.

Beginning 6 July at 06:25 CAT, Sofia The First: Royal Magic follows Sofia as she studies at The Charmswell School for Royal Magic, where princes and princesses continue their royal education while learning magical skills.

Later in the month, SuperKitties Season 3 premieres on 27 July, airing weekdays at 11:10 CAT. The new season takes the SuperKitties beyond Kittydale and into the Wild Jungle, introducing new powers, fresh villains and a new wildcat friend named Willa.

A magical month of family entertainment

From inspiring adventures and magical worlds to music, games and unforgettable characters, Disney Channel’s July lineup offers something for every member of the family.

Whether viewers are discovering Rabbit Hole, revisiting Disney favourites or exploring brand-new adventures, July promises a month packed with imagination, laughter and entertainment.
