In celebration of Valentine’s Day, Flamingo Casino and The Maslow Hotel has a choice of romantic events for lovers to enjoy a special evening together.
At Flamingo, singer Dineo Ramailane will head up a ‘Soulful Sound Dining Evening’ in the 129 Lifestyle Lounge, where the dress code is ‘sleek and chic’, with prizes for the best dressed couple. For those who prefer to gaze longing into their partners eyes without the backing of live music, make your way to the Harvest Grill & Wine.
Both venues will serve the same selection of canapés and trio of desserts to share, along with a welcome drink. The canapés will be served buffet style in the restaurant and plated in 129 Lifestyle Lounge.

At The Maslow, Executive Chef Omar Menhouk and his team will prepare a four-course meal, which has various options. Starters range from oak smoked Scottish rosettes or herbed quinoa and chickpea salad, a carrot and ginger soup, while the hearty main course is a 200g beef fillet with fresh market vegetables, king prawns or a Mediterranean vegetable and chickpea stew. Round of the meal with Cupid’s Delight, a heart-shaped cheesecake with berry coulis, or tea, coffee with petit fours.
