Pantry by Gemelli is proud to announce an exclusive evening of exceptional culinary artistry and exquisite wine pairings at our upcoming Chef’s Table on 21 August 2024. This event will celebrates the joy of food and drink through a meticulously crafted 4-course menu, paired with the finest wines from Epicurean Wine South Africa—a proudly Black-owned and founded winery. This unique experience highlights our commitment to culinary excellence and cultural heritage.
In honour of South Africa’s Women’s Month, this event also highlights the powerful contributions of Black women within our community and the industry. Noxolo “Noxie” Matthews, Head of Events at the Gemelli Group and Pontsho Maduna, National Manager at Epicurean Wine South Africa, play pivotal roles in bringing this extraordinary evening to life.
The evening will begin at 19:00 with a welcome drink—an exquisite Epicurean wine—accompanied by a delightful amuse-bouche that sets the tone for what promises to be an extraordinary experience. Our chef has crafted a unique homage board for the first course, featuring canapés inspired by Epicurean’s philosophy. Each bite is a reflection of the meticulous care that goes into creating both our food and wine.
Throughout the evening, guests will be treated to special surprises, including exclusive wines that can only be tasted at this event. These rare selections will elevate the dining experience, offering a one-of-a-kind opportunity to explore flavours that are truly unique to Epicurean.
