Dullstroom has come to rival Clarens, Magoebaskloof and other picturesque locations as travellers discover this gem in Mpumalanga and rave about it from the moment they arrive. One way of experiencing this paradise is to visit the Walkersons Hotel & Spa.

Experience everything they have on offer, from the waters of this Fly Fishing paradise of 14 lakes and dams stocked with Rainbow Trout, walking and hiking trails, horse riding (the on-site Dullstroom Riding Centre offers horse riding at affordable rates), wildlife (red hartebeest, springbok, zebra, blue wildebeest and blesbok), golf, clay pigeon shooting, whiskey tasking, the anvil ale brewery, and naturally, the Dullstroom Bird of Prey Centre.

While staying at Walkersons Hotel & Spa, there are also five luxury self-catering family cottages. Along with the unspoiled countryside, Walkersons’enjoy the luxurious Spa and top-class service its gourmet country cuisine is another one of its significant attractions. Dining is an indulgent affair at The Flying Scotsman and a more laidback one at The Terrace where you can enjoy breakfast, lunch, high tea and dinners with glorious views, while Peggy’s Bar is perfect for relaxed afternoon and pre/post-dinner drinks

Alternatively, you can enjoy the famous Walkersons scones at afternoon tea overlooking the rose gardens, or a specially prepared picnic hamper to be enjoyed down by the river.
