S3 is excited to bring a live-action-adventure series Silverpoint to the channel, starting on Friday, 13 January 2023. The show will broadcast weekly at 16:30.

Around the world today, children are connected through gadgets which is a common factor. What happens when there is a digital detox? Do they adjust to the situation?

Silverpoint is a sci-fi drama series about four kids, all strangers, on the verge of an extraordinary adventure, stripped of their tech and enrolled in an activity camp in the middle of nowhere.

The series aims to help teens relate to the real world, develop friendships, and press the off switch from time to time and a melting pot of kids from the city stuck in the middle of the woods and way out of their comfort zone.

Louis, Meg, Kaz and Glen bond over colour wars and raft building, taking it back to basics. On their second day, in the middle of the night, the four stumbles upon something buried in the woods, an alien artefact that causes objects to disappear. Enchanted by disappearing objects, Louis’ determination to find out goes wrong when Meg inadvertently disappears in its light. The attempts to get Meg back play alongside bizarre and unexplainable events that have begun to occur in the camp. Dragonfly soon discovers that anything they imagine appears and that they are no longer in the campsite but in an alternate reality. After finally managing to escape, Dragonfly, reunited with Meg, must deal with a suspicious government presence leading them to a finale at a remote facility where they find the alien artefact. Soon Dragonfly will uncover the truth about what this object is for and why it chose them.

Across the summer, these four characters bond, not just over the outdoor activities but also about something unexplainable out in the woods, something they make an oath not to tell anyone.

The plot twist is that four kids disappeared in the same woods 23 years ago.

Do not miss Silverpoint on Fridays at 16:30, starting 13 January 2023, only on S3.
