Gucci Primavera: Love Takes Centre Stage

Gucci welcomes a new season with Primavera, an evocative campaign about rebirth, connection and the transformative power of falling in love.

There are moments when everything changes.

A glance becomes a conversation. A stranger becomes someone familiar. A room full of people suddenly feels like a place where anything could happen.

That emotional shift sits at the heart of Gucci’s new Primavera campaign, an intimate celebration of rebirth and the transformative power of love.

Rather than simply presenting fashion, Gucci uses the campaign to explore the feeling of possibility that arrives when people open themselves to connection.

Kate Moss brings love to life

Directed by Johan Renck, the campaign unfolds through a short film starring Kate Moss.

Set among a room of strangers, the film captures a gradual awakening as people pair off and find their way towards one another on the dance floor.

The soundtrack adds another layer of emotion.

Moss lip-syncs to Chris Isaak’s baritone rendition of “Wicked Game”, creating a cinematic atmosphere that mirrors the intensity, vulnerability and unpredictability of new love.

What begins as a room filled with strangers becomes something more intimate.

People connect.

People fall in love.

And the atmosphere shifts from separation to possibility.

That transformation provides the emotional foundation for Primavera.

A modern Renaissance through Gucci’s lens

The campaign extends beyond film.

Photographed by Michal Chelbin, the accompanying imagery takes inspiration from the visual language of Renaissance painting.

The portraits echo the compositions, poses and grandeur associated with classical artworks, while presenting a distinctly contemporary group of personalities.

The result is a collection of intimate portraits that places each individual at the centre of their own visual story.

Together, the campaign brings 10 talents from music, film, fashion and sport into one striking cast.

Among them are Gucci Global Brand Ambassadors Xiao Zhan, Jin and NINGNING, alongside Tom Brady, Alex Consani, EsDeeKid, Lee Young Ae, Shawn Mendes, Rico Nasty and Tarzzan.

Their different backgrounds and creative identities reflect the diverse facets of Gucci’s evolving spirit.

They also represent the vision of Demna, Gucci’s artistic director.

Demna’s Gucci enters a new chapter

Primavera also provides a closer look at the collection presented during Demna’s debut fashion show for Gucci.

The collection introduces a new vocabulary of silhouettes and textures.

Its central idea is one of lightness and ease, expressed through multiple approaches to dressing.

It is a contemporary interpretation of Gucci that remains connected to the House’s heritage while exploring where that identity can go next.

In this sense, the Primavera campaign does more than advertise a collection.

It creates an emotional world around it.

The clothes exist alongside ideas of transformation, individuality and human connection, allowing the fashion to become part of a broader story about renewal.

Ten personalities, one evolving Gucci spirit

The campaign’s casting is deliberately diverse.

From sport and music to film and fashion, the 10 talents bring different perspectives and identities to the same visual universe.

That diversity is central to the campaign’s message.

Primavera does not present rebirth as something that looks the same for everyone.

Instead, it captures different people experiencing connection in their own way.

The campaign therefore becomes a portrait of an evolving Gucci — one that draws from its heritage while embracing new personalities, new creative voices and new ways of expressing identity.

When fashion becomes a feeling

At its core, Primavera is about a feeling.

The feeling of entering a new chapter.

The excitement of meeting someone who changes your perspective.

The vulnerability of allowing yourself to connect.

And the possibility that can emerge when strangers become something more.

Through Johan Renck’s film, Kate Moss’s performance and Michal Chelbin’s Renaissance-inspired photography, Gucci turns those ideas into a visual narrative.

The fashion is important.

But the emotion gives the campaign its pulse.

Primavera is Gucci’s celebration of renewal — where love, individuality and fashion meet in a world full of possibility.
