Paint the town “orangie” with The Glenmorangie Experience, Zakes Bantwini and friends

Fresh from his double triumph at this year’s South African Music Awards, dance music supremo Zakes Bantwini teams up with Glenmorangie for The Glenmorangie Experience – a series of deliciously wonderful musical experiences around the country.

Prepare for a sensory playground at Propaganda, Tshwane’s biggest entertainment hotspot with three dancefloors and an elevated stage, when The Glenmorangie Experience arrives in town on Saturday 19 November 2022. The capital city is set to pulse with an experiential encounter like no other!

Bantwini will be joined on stage during the night by an array of guests, including Mama singer Maline Aura, as well as the irresistibly smooth sounds of Samthing Soweto, aka Samkelo Mdolomba. Amapiano stars DJ Njelic and Snow Deep, and Mdu Masilela will complete an evening of unforgettable musical flair and fun.

Says Zakes Bantwini, “For someone like myself, who’s all about legacy and building a sustainable career, working with a brand like Glenmorangie means everything. It’s a brand that’s looking at colour, culture, fashion, art and legacy – and that’s exactly what I stand for, orange also being one of my favourite colours! I love working with Glenmorangie because we’re building colourful memories, and building a foundation for a legacy for future generations.”

The Glenmorangie Experience then heads down to Rands Cape Town in the heart of Khayelitsha on Saturday 10 December 2022, for another generous dose of quality music and sensory wonder.

Each venue will be transformed into a scintillating “orangie” wonderland, with Bantwini’s high-octane amapiano and house grooves combining with his electrifying stage performance to make each encounter a night to remember. His bespoke “orangie” piano promises to be a showstopper in its own right! Guests can expect to be entertained by one of Mzansi’s classiest dance floor fillers while being wowed by a high tech experience complete with dazzling sound, light and creative sizzle, courtesy of Glenmorangie

“We’re delighted to be bringing The Glenmorangie Experience to South Africans at a wonderful time of year; these experiences will be the perfect way to celebrate in the company of great friends and great whisky. Patrons can look forward to a splash of playfulness mixed with a whole lot of deliciousness, not only in our drinks, but with the incomparable Zakes Bantwini taking centre stage,” says David White, Regional Marketing Director for Glenmorangie in Africa.

Tickets are expected to be snapped up fast, so be sure to book early for The Glenmorangie Experience – it’ll be kind of wonderful and let’s face it, you deserve it! Tickets are available through Computicket (link). Doors open at 4pm.
