On 19 September 2026, more than 70,000 fans are expected to descend on FNB Stadium for Scorpion Kings Live, bringing together some of the biggest names in Amapiano and contemporary African music for what is being billed as one of the country’s defining live music experiences of 2026.

At the heart of it all are the Scorpion Kings themselves — Kabza De Small and DJ Maphorisa.

But they are far from alone.

The newly announced lineup brings together an extraordinary mix of pioneers, chart-toppers, innovators and rising voices from across South Africa’s musical landscape.

One stadium. More than 70,000 fans. One massive celebration.

Scorpion Kings Live is set to unite Amapiano, Afro-soul, hip-hop, house and contemporary African sounds on one stage.

The massive lineup includes Ami Faku, Amaroto, Aymos, Angekebabuye MC, Beekayrsa28, Blxckie, Bontle Smith, Busiswa, Busta 929, Daliwonga, DJ Maphorisa, Dladla Mshuniqisi, Focalistic, Kabelo Sings, Kabza De Small, Kamo Mphela, Kammu Dee, Key Tech, Khalil Harrison, Lady Du, Leehleza, LeeMckrazy, Madumane, Mark Khoza, MaWhoo, Mhaw Keys, Miano, Mkeyz, Mlindo The Vocalist, Mnqobi Yazo, Mr JazziQ, Msaki, Mthunzi, Nasty C, Nia Pearl, Njelic, Nkosazana Daughter, Nobuhle, Nokwazi, Pcee, Ricky Lenyora, Ringo Madlingozi, Scotts Maphuma, Semi Tee, Soweto’s Finest, Sykes, Thatohatsi, Toss, Tman Xpress, Tracy, Uncool MC, Vulela, Xduppy, Young Stunna, Zaba and Zawadi Yamungu.

It is a lineup that stretches across generations and genres.

From the soulful voices of Ami Faku, Msaki, Nobuhle, Nokwazi, Nkosazana Daughter and Mlindo The Vocalist, to the unmistakable Amapiano energy of Daliwonga, Young Stunna, Focalistic, Kamo Mphela, Toss, Tman Xpress, LeeMckrazy and MaWhoo, the event is designed to offer something for a wide range of music lovers.

Hip-hop will also have a strong presence through Blxckie and Nasty C, while the enduring influence of Ringo Madlingozi adds another dimension to the celebration.

Then there are artists such as Busiswa, Lady Du, Busta 929, Semi Tee and Njelic, each bringing their own distinctive place in South African music to the stadium.

And the party starts before the main show

Fans do not have to wait until the main performances to get into the mood.

The Scorpion Kings Live pre-show starts from 12h00, giving fans the chance to arrive early and experience a full day of music, culture and entertainment.

That makes the event bigger than a traditional concert.

It is being positioned as an all-day celebration of South African music and culture, with FNB Stadium becoming the meeting point for fans and artists on 19 September.

The experience goes beyond the stage

Scorpion Kings Live is also bringing major brands into the experience.

SABC1 joins as the Official Broadcast Partner, connecting two brands with deep roots in South African music, youth culture and entertainment.

The partnership reflects a shared commitment to celebrating the sounds, stories and cultural movements coming out of Mzansi.

Fashion and culture brand GalxBoy joins as the Official Merch Distribution Partner, giving fans the opportunity to take a piece of the Scorpion Kings Live experience home.

Getting to and from the stadium is also part of the plan.

Gautrain comes on board as the Official Transport Partner, supporting convenient and accessible travel for fans heading to the celebration.

Meanwhile, Sprite takes on the role of Official Refreshment Partner, while Castle Lite joins as the Official Beer Partner.

And the energy will continue throughout the venue.

McCafé and RocoMamas join as Official Activations Partners, bringing dedicated brand experiences directly to fans on the ground.

A celebration of Mzansi’s musical power

Put all of it together and Scorpion Kings Live is shaping up as more than a night of performances.

It brings music, fashion, culture, transport, food, refreshments and entertainment together around one of South Africa’s most iconic venues.

And at the centre is a musical movement that has travelled far beyond its origins.

Amapiano has become one of the defining sounds associated with South African music, and Scorpion Kings Live places two of its most influential figures, Kabza De Small and DJ Maphorisa, at the centre of a lineup spanning multiple generations and musical styles.

On 19 September 2026, FNB Stadium will become the stage for that celebration.

With more than 70,000 fans expected and an all-star lineup already announced, the scale is unmistakable.

Scorpion Kings Live is coming to FNB Stadium — and Mzansi is getting ready to show the world what South African music sounds like.

Limited ticketing options remain available via Scorpion Kings Live.
