This year’s Africa Travel Indaba starts with a buzz of activity, including the revival of the Shot Left Travel Week campaign, sparking excitement in South Africa’s tourism industry. This initiative connects local tourist destinations with our growing domestic travel market, leading to the highly anticipated Great South African Sale.

At the heart of Sho’t Left Travel Week is the Sho’t Left Partners Platform, a dynamic digital hub for businesses to showcase their enticing travel deals. The platform offers new features, including a simpler registration process for all sizes of tourism businesses. Our partner platform (https://profile.shotleft.co.za/) will track bookings through Google Analytics integration, enhancing your ability to update deals and understand local travellers’ preferences. This presents a prime opportunity for businesses looking to tap into the growing domestic travel market.

Where to register? Look for our Sho’t Left Travel Week team wearing branded T-shirts. They will be at the ICC for the duration of Indaba to provide information and help local tourism businesses register. Or visit our stand, G01, at the DEC for a fantastic and inspiring setting provided by Sho’t Left.

Don’t miss the chance to reach a large group of local travellers, thanks to South African Tourism’s strong marketing support. Your deals will be seen by millions of eager travellers each year, giving your business increased visibility among a wide range of domestic travellers.

It’s more than just transactions; it’s about building a stronger bond with our beautiful country, especially as we celebrate 30 years of democracy in Mzansi. While your business can offer discounts up to 50% on bookings, travellers are urged to discover South Africa’s diverse landscapes and experiences. This not only fuels economic growth but also fosters cultural appreciation.

Shot Left Travel Week’s success depends on active participation from various tourism businesses. Whether you’re a hotel, airline, tourist attraction, restaurant, event organiser, car rental company, or tour operator, we invite you to register your deals. Use this platform to attract more domestic tourists.

Registration is free for all trade members, allowing you to showcase multiple deals for both seasoned and aspiring local travellers. Bookings are available from September 2nd to September 8th, 2024, with travel dates later, subject to your business’s terms and conditions. Register your business today and help us remind the people of Mansi that “It’s Your Country. Enjoy it. Cause nothing is more fun than a Sho’t Left.”
