Fourways has a new destination for dining, relaxation and socialising. The View, an elevated lifestyle and dining development connected to Fourways Mall, has officially opened its doors, bringing together restaurants, beauty and wellness experiences, speciality retail and leisure attractions in one setting.
Designed for everything from morning coffee and leisurely lunches to Pilates, pampering, sundowners and dinner with friends, The View aims to become part of everyday life in Fourways while offering an experience worth travelling for.
Located on the corner of Cedar and Witkoppen Roads, the R100 million development forms part of the ongoing transformation of Fourways Mall. The mall is 50% owned by JSE-listed Accelerate Property Fund.
Connected to the centre’s expansive 182,000m² footprint, The View adds another dimension to the mall’s retail, entertainment and lifestyle offering.
A fresh take on the Fourways experience
Contemporary architecture, clean lines, refined finishes and carefully considered interiors shape the atmosphere at The View.
A three-level atrium brings light and openness into the development. Indoor and outdoor spaces also create room for relaxed dining and socialising.
Each restaurant and store brings its own design character to the destination. Together, they create a cohesive environment without losing the individuality of the brands.
The result is a setting designed around more than shopping alone. Visitors can meet friends over lunch, enjoy a wellness appointment or settle in for an evening out.
Dining takes centre stage
Food is one of The View’s biggest attractions, with a collection of restaurants and cafés catering to different tastes and occasions.
The arrival of tashas brings its signature all-day dining experience to Fourways. Its interiors draw inspiration from the Aegean, while its menu celebrates fresh ingredients and the pleasure of sharing good food.
Another major addition is Pantry by Marble, bringing its high-end food and lifestyle concept to Fourways for the first time.
The wider dining selection includes Fournos, Nossa Casa, Nonnas Riviera, Banchan, George’s Grill and Clay Cafe. At Clay Cafe, visitors can combine a creative experience with a relaxed outing.
For something sweet, Gelato Mania adds a dessert stop to the mix. Meanwhile, Food Lover’s Market and Liquor Lane bring premium food shopping and everyday convenience into the development.
With options for quick stops, leisurely meals and social occasions, the dining offering gives visitors plenty of reasons to explore.
Beauty, wellness and a little time for yourself
The View also places beauty and wellness at the heart of its offering.
Mangwanani provides an opportunity to unwind, while Glow Theory, Popsicle Nails, The Piercery and The Laser Beautique offer a range of beauty and personal care experiences.
Fitness also has a place in the mix. Loamari Pilates allows visitors to combine a morning workout with breakfast, shopping or a coffee date.
For speciality retail, Petworld XXL adds another option to the destination’s growing collection of stores and experiences.
More openings are on the way
The View’s launch is part of a wider development plan, with additional businesses expected to join the destination.
Rockets Man is expected to open later in 2026, bringing another dining and social experience to Fourways.
In January 2027, Workshop17 is expected to introduce a flexible working environment, adding another dimension to how visitors can use the space.
These planned additions will further expand the range of experiences available at The View.
Building a stronger lifestyle destination
According to Juan Palm, General Manager of Fourways Mall, the development responds to demand for a more sophisticated dining and lifestyle offering in the area.
“We recognised a growing demand in Fourways for an upmarket dining and lifestyle experience, and The View was developed specifically to meet that need,” said Juan.
“Our vision was to bring together highly sought-after upscale brands in a beautifully designed setting, creating a destination where people can enjoy exceptional dining, wellness and leisure experiences. The quality of the environment and the mix of brands were central to achieving that vision.”
Palm said the project also aims to strengthen the connection between Fourways Mall and the surrounding community.
“Our hope is that The View becomes a natural part of life in Fourways, a place that local residents return to regularly, but which also attracts visitors from further afield. It adds another dimension to Fourways Mall and gives people even more reasons to visit.”
The development also considers accessibility. Multiple access points, including direct access from Cedar Road, make reaching The View more convenient. Its connection to Fourways Mall allows visitors to move between the new lifestyle destination and the centre’s wider shopping and entertainment offering.
A new reason to visit Fourways
With its combination of dining, wellness, beauty, speciality retail and planned future additions, The View brings a new lifestyle option to Fourways.
Whether visitors arrive for a meal, a wellness session, a coffee date or an evening with friends, the development is designed to make time spent there part of the experience.
