The Voiceover Factory: A Masterclass Empowering Aspiring Voice Artists

The Voiceover Factory proudly announces its inaugural annual voice-over masterclass, aimed at nurturing and guiding aspiring voice artists on their journey to becoming industry professionals. This collaborative venture is the brainchild of two esteemed figures in the world of voiceovers, Ntombi Meso from Radio 2000 and Sinemivuyo Mpulu from TruFM. The duo’s combined expertise and passion for the craft have led to the creation of an event that promises to unlock the secrets of success in the voice-over industry.

The Voiceover Factory’s journey began when Ntombi Meso hosted a class last year, during which Sinemivuyo Mpulu was invited to speak. Their shared vision for empowering and inspiring individuals in the field of voiceovers has now culminated in the creation of something even bigger – The Voiceover Factory Masterclass.

“Considering the persistently high unemployment rates in South Africa, we believe that this voiceover masterclass will help empower aspiring voiceover artists with new opportunities, enabling them to pursue fulfilling careers within the industry,” says Ntombikayise Phiri, co-founder of The Voiceover Factory.
The event, scheduled for October 7, 2023, will take place at the prestigious a venue in Johannesburg which will be disclosed to ticket holders. The choice of venue reflects the dedication to providing attendees with an immersive and professional experience that is sure to leave a lasting impact.

The Voiceover Factory Masterclass is designed to meet the high demand for voiceover education, with both Ntombi and Sinemivuyo bringing their years of experience to the forefront. Both founders have encountered countless individuals inspired by their work and are eager to create a supportive community where attendees can empower themselves and take the next step in their careers.

One of the highlights of the event will be the recognition of Mr. Treasure Tshabalala, a stalwart of the voiceover industry, for his incredible contributions. The event will also feature opportunities to win prizes, thanks to partnerships with leading voice-over platforms in South Africa, including studios, online databases, and casting directors.
