That is the cosmic recipe behind To The Moon And Back?, a new children’s adventure show from Kayla Dunne’s KMD Productions, coming to the Studio Theatre at Montecasino from 12 to 29 November.

Designed for young explorers aged 3 to 12, the live stage production promises a playful journey through space, blending comedy, adventure, teamwork and fascinating space facts into a family-friendly theatrical experience.

A Rocket, a Problem and a Galaxy to Explore

The adventure begins when a young astronaut’s homemade rocket malfunctions.

Stranded far from home, she finds an unlikely companion in a new alien bestie. Together, the pair must travel through the galaxy and collect the missing parts needed to repair the rocket.

But getting home will not be as simple as pressing a button and counting down to blast-off.

Along the way, the duo encounters silly twists and unexpected moments that turn their mission into a hilarious planet-hopping adventure.

At the heart of the story is a simple idea: sometimes, getting where you need to go means learning how to work together.

Big Lessons in a Cosmic World

While To The Moon And Back? promises plenty of fun, the adventure also carries heartwarming lessons about teamwork.

The young astronaut and her alien companion must rely on each other as they search for what they need to rebuild the rocket.

The production also brings fascinating space facts into the experience, creating an adventure that combines entertainment with opportunities for young audiences to discover more about the world beyond Earth.

For families, that means the journey is designed to offer more than laughs. It is a chance for children to explore ideas of friendship, cooperation and discovery through live theatre.

Will They Make It Home?

There is one question hanging over the entire adventure.

Will the rocket be rebuilt in time for blast-off back to Earth?

That answer awaits audiences at the Studio Theatre, where the production will bring its magical cosmic journey to life.

With its mix of space adventure, comedy, friendship, teamwork and discovery, To The Moon And Back? is set to invite young audiences to imagine what might happen when an ordinary rocket ride turns into an extraordinary journey across the galaxy.

And sometimes, the biggest adventures begin when things go completely wrong.

KMD Productions Heads Into Orbit

The production comes from KMD Productions, with Kayla Dunne bringing this new children’s adventure to the stage.

The cast is still to be announced, adding another piece of anticipation ahead of the November run.

For families planning ahead, tickets are already on sale through Webtickets, while special school group discounts are available through the theatre box office.

From the first rocket malfunction to the search for the missing parts, To The Moon And Back? invites young explorers to buckle up, look to the stars and discover where an unexpected friendship can take them.
