Following an eagerly awaited reschedule, one of the most anticipated cultural events, #ZKHIPHANI16YRS, is finally set to take place this April!

Since its founding in 2009, Zkhiphani (loosely translated as “what’s happening” in English) has become the heartbeat of South Africa’s urban youth culture, evolving into an African powerhouse that keeps young people in the loop with the latest trends in fashion, music, and art.

Last year, Zkhiphani celebrated a major milestone —15 remarkable years of documenting the South African entertainment industry. This year, Zkhiphani continues the excitement with a 16th-anniversary experience that will ignite culture, featuring the best in music, fashion, and art. Get ready for an unforgettable two-day festival of sound, style, and soul!

Join us on April 5th & 6th for an unforgettable showcase that will unite top collaborators, DJs, and changemakers in celebrating 16 years of shaping urban culture!

Feel the energy of Uncle Partytime’s Playroom, a showcase of electrifying DJ sets and performances. Engage in an exclusive Sobering Podcast panel conversation featuring special guests. Witness the intensity of $TREETFE$T Underground, a high-stakes hip-hop competition spotlighting the next wave of talent. Or, immerse yourself in a multi-genre stage parade, meticulously curated by A Rare experience.

Fashion lovers can also discover the allure of Zkhiphani’s limited-edition merch at our exclusive Fashion Pop-Ups, in collaboration with HAPPYVILLE, Godspeed, Backyard, and Punyete, before experiencing our Main Stage performances from the likes of A-Reece, Usimamane, Khuli Chana, Maglera Doe Boy’s ONDE Live, TDK Macasette, Success SA & many more—meticulously curated to create one-of-a-kind cultural moments that unite music, fashion, and art, honoring the past while setting the stage for the future.
