A brand-new Destinations Outdoor & Travel store will be opening in George’s Eden Meander Mall in July – the perfect excuse to get outside. This is the second store of its kind in South Africa and promises to bring the joys of adventure to the Southern Cape.

Destinations Outdoor & Travel forms part of the holding company FrontierCo, which is home to leading brands like GUESS, ALDO, Pringle of Scotland and Mr. Tekkie.

“The new Destinations store is a great concept and a must for people who are keen to explore the outdoors. Whether you’re discovering new cities, camping out in the bush or berg, watching the sunset from the beach or off on a good old road trip, it is scientifically proven that fun holidays reduce stress and make you feel ‘lekker’,” says Kennith Barlow, Head of Destinations Outdoor & Travel. “At Destinations, you’ll find all the gear you need to make holidays, long weekends and even day trips an even better experience.”

You’ll find Destinations Outdoor & Travel right next to Mr. Tekkie at Eden Meander, Entrance S1, shop #14B, opposite MTN. Enjoy the perks and convenience of shopping at Destinations for your next outdoor adventure and finding your favourite footwear and clothing brands at Mr. Tekkie, just a hop, skip and jump away.

The Destinations store specialises in luggage and packs for travel, with some of the world’s best-known brands. You’ll also find footwear ideal for exploring cities, mountains or beaches, along with good apparel for all weather conditions, from socks and accessories to fight off the cold to sun block to beat the heat. It’s the perfect place to shop trusted quality brands you know and love, in everything from sleeping bags, lighting, knives and tools to sunblock, mosquito repellent and a host of other outdoor essentials. “Everything we sell has been developed and hand-picked by a team who strives to be your most reliable partner in whatever adventure you choose,” says Barlow.

“Unsurprisingly, with the dollar to rand exchange rate, we’re finding that local travel is the most prevalent. People are enjoying trips to different places in and around our magnificent country. South Africa is one of the most sought-after tourist destinations and – we’re right here! We have some of the best outdoor places to visit and explore in the world and it is fantastic to see locals taking advantage or our diverse and beautiful country,” he says.
