Spring is officially heating up.
With the countdown to Spring Fiesta 2026 now in its final stretch, anticipation is building for one of South Africa’s most established celebrations of music, culture and togetherness.
On Saturday, 3 October 2026, Wild Waters Complex in Boksburg, Ekurhuleni, will become the setting for a full day of music and entertainment, with the festival running from 12pm until late.
And this year, Spring Fiesta is going big.
The 16th edition brings together more than 120 local and international artists and DJs, spread across six uniquely themed stages. From house and hip hop to amapiano, deep house and AfroTech, the festival is designed to take music lovers on a journey through some of the sounds shaping South Africa’s dance culture.
With more than 20,000 festival-goers expected, the countdown is officially on.
Six Stages. One Massive Celebration.
Spring Fiesta 2026 is bringing together an extensive mix of genres and artists.
At the heart of the festival is the Spring Fiesta Main Stage, where audiences can expect performances from some of the country’s biggest names.
The announced lineup includes Scorpion Kings, Cassper Nyovest, Msaki, Mi Casa, Dlala Thukzin, Nasty C, Kelvin Momo, Sun-El Musician, Zee Khumalo, K.O, Morda, DJ Zinhle, Dankie Boii, Goldmax featuring Mgilane, Jazzworld & Thukuthela, and Piano Rush featuring Leehleza, Mark Khoza, Uncool MC, Angekebabuye, Riky Lenyora, Vulela, Gazza and Tumi Le Mang.
Also appearing are Kitchenmess and DJ Nel.
The Main Stage will be hosted by Nomalanga Shoza and Zane Gultson.
But the festival experience extends well beyond the main stage.
Soul Candi Classics Brings the Classics
The Soul Candi Classics stage brings together an international and local selection of house music talent.
The lineup features Fish Go Deep, Shane Johnson from Ireland, Dr Duda featuring special guests, DJ Fresh, Ralf Gum, DJ Mbuso, C-Blak, D.General, DJ Terrance from Music Box, Judy Jay, Nastic Groove B2B TimADeep, Kali Mija, Jay Em, Taz Golden and AndileAndy.
It is another reminder of the broad musical spectrum that defines Spring Fiesta.
Stay True Sounds Goes Deep
For lovers of deeper sounds, the Stay True Sounds Stage brings an international and South African lineup together.
Atjazz from the UK, Jullian Gomes, Dwson, KUDbEU, Aquatone, Kid Fonque, !Sooks, Nutty Nys, Vinny Da Vinci B2B DJ Christos of DJ’s At Work, Thabo Tonick B2B Hypaphonik, KVRVBO, Black Villain and Graham Deep are all set to feature.
The stage adds another dimension to a festival already spanning multiple musical worlds.
Hip Hop Gets Its Own Floor
Hip hop heads have their own destination at Spring Fiesta 2026.
Hosted by Speedsta, The Hip Hop Stage features Blxckie, Loatinover Pounds, Frank Casino, DJ Sliqe, DJ Capital, DJ Zan D, DJ Fae Fae, Hudson, Lesedi The DJ, Kyotic, Themba Lunacy, Sike The DJ, Fif_Laaa, Courtnaè Paul, Doom It, Zap DJ and 39 Thirty.
It is a lineup that places South African hip hop firmly within the festival’s wider musical landscape.
Piano Dreamland
Amapiano takes centre stage at Piano Dreamland, bringing together another collection of established names and emerging voices.
The lineup includes Sam Deep, Uncool MC, Shakes and Les, Shaun 101, K Mat, Tsebebe Moroke, Ch’cco, Gazza, Masterpiece YVK, Last Born, Linda Moeketsi, Juss Gigi, Zane Gulston, Sfarzo Rtee and Shorts.
The stage will be hosted by Tumilemang.
Bakone AfroTech
The Bakone AfroTech Stage completes the six-stage musical offering with an international and continental selection of AfroTech talent.
The lineup features Da Capo, Manoo from France, Caiiro, Enoo Napa, Culoe De Song, Euggy from Kenya, Jnr SA, Kususa, Mr Merlon, TenOceans and Tirhani.
With artists from South Africa, France, Kenya and beyond represented across the festival, Spring Fiesta continues to connect local sounds with an international presence.
More Than Music
While music remains at the heart of Spring Fiesta, the experience extends beyond the stages.
Festival-goers can expect live performances, exclusive collaborations, art installations, local food trucks, surprise pop-ups and unexpected moments throughout the day.
That combination is part of what has allowed Spring Fiesta to grow from its grassroots beginnings into an established fixture on South Africa’s music calendar.
Now entering its 16th year, the festival is celebrating the journey while preparing to welcome another crowd of music lovers.
As Head of Talent Zane Gulston puts it:
“Spring Fiesta is about the music, the energy and, most importantly, the people who have been rolling with us from day one.”
Gulston says the 16th edition is about celebrating where Spring Fiesta has come from while turning the volume up for what comes next.
He also describes this year’s lineup as “insane” and says the team is ready to make the 2026 edition one to remember.
