Absolut, the iconic vodka brand known for its commitment to creativity, inclusivity, and the art of mixing, is thrilled to announce the launch of its “Born To Mix” campaign in South Africa. This exciting campaign is designed to inspire individuals of all ages(above 21) and backgrounds, who are open-minded, optimistic, and driven by curiosity, to come together to mix ideas and drinks, respectfully and responsibly.

At the heart of the “Born To Mix” campaign is the celebration of openness, embracing differing ideas, beliefs, diversity, and creative expression to make them better together. As part of this vibrant campaign, Absolut X presents an electrifying series of nighttime electronic dance events, where partygoers will be immersed in high-energy environments filled with some of Mzansi’s top DJ talent, live performers, entertainment acts, atmospheric lighting, and, of course, SA’s favourite party spirit, Absolut.

These events will also serve as the perfect stage to introduce Absolut’s newest cocktails: the Bloody Mary, the Mule, Lemonade, and Vodka Tonic. These cocktails will be brought to life by sassy, energetic, and slightly outrageous personas at Absolut X.

The “Born To Mix” experience will unfold across six of the top venues in South Africa, spanning across Johannesburg, Durban, and Cape Town, promising unforgettable nights for party enthusiasts. The first event will kick off on Saturday, 30 September, starting at 7 pm at the legendary Zone 6 in Soweto, which will include the following artist lineup:

  • Langa Mavuso
  • Nkosazana Daughter
  • Kamo WW
  • Q2K

  • DJ KENT

  • Jaivane
  • SHAUN1O1
  • GOLDMAX
  • Kagiso Mogola
  • READASOUL
  • Nkuley Masemola
  • K2K
