Boatica Cape Town is Africa’s pinnacle boating showcase

boatica Cape Town, Africa’s leading boating and nautical lifestyle exhibition, returns from the 25th to the 27th of October 2024 at the iconic V&A Waterfront. This year, the event promises to deliver an unparalleled experience, showcasing the best of South Africa’s boating and lifestyle brands.

In partnership with the City of Cape Town, boatica Cape Town 2024 aims to exceed expectations. This year’s event features a wide range of exhibitors, offering an extensive selection of vessels, including powerboats and luxury catamarans, as well as the latest in boating accessories, water sports equipment and gear, and electronic gadgets, all showcased in the new curated layout that links water and land enhancing the visitor experience.

To attract both international and local visitors seeking an unforgettable experience, boatica now offers travel and experience packages that perfectly align with the boating lifestyle and the event itself.  These packages not only highlight Cape Town’s natural beauty, vibrant culture, and warm hospitality but also promote it as a premier destination that captivates the heart and imagination of travellers from around the world. On-water exhibition
The latest Yachts, Catamarans, power boats, jet skis, and other leisure boating options will be on display. The on-water program will feature live demonstrations, the Great Optimist time trials and race that raise funds for marginalised children through the Little Optimist Trust, Dragon boat racing, flyboarding, foiling, and SUP experiences amongst others. The SA Sailing Academy will also be on hand, offering sailing lessons for enthusiasts of all ages.

On-land exhibition
For those interested in the latest boating gear and accessories, boatica will have a wide array of industry products on display. From state-of-the-art navigation systems to high-performance water sports equipment, there’s something for everyone.

A new element is the Launch Pad where visitors are exposed to launches and new products in the world of boating.

Talks at the show
Informative talks will cover a range of topics related to the maritime industry, including key insights from exhibitors. Other highlights include discussions on ocean conservation, surfboard shaping, life raft demonstrations and other relevant topics.
