Three Reasons Clearwater Mall Is the Place to Be This Weekend

If your March calendar is looking a little too ordinary, Clearwater Mall is about to change that—dramatically.

From live music under the evening sky to high-energy fitness and creative family moments, this weekend’s lineup delivers a carefully curated mix of experiences designed to bring people together. Whether you’re chasing a vibe, a workout, or quality time with the kids, Clearwater Mall is closing out the month with style.

Friday Night, Reimagined: Live Music in the Piazza

Forget the usual dinner plans.

On Friday, 20 March, the Piazza transforms into a vibrant live music destination from 17:00 to 21:00. A lineup of talented vocalists and instrumentalists will take over the space, creating an atmosphere that turns a simple meal into something memorable.

Book a table at one of the surrounding restaurants or simply find a spot and soak it all in—the music, the energy, the feeling that the weekend has officially arrived.

And the best part? It’s completely free.

Start Strong: Silent FAB FIT Mash-Up Class

Saturday morning belongs to those who move.

On 21 March from 08:00 to 09:30, fitness meets innovation with the Silent FAB FIT Mash-Up Class, powered by Burn Fitness. This dynamic session blends 45 minutes of Boxfit with 45 minutes of Yoga—high intensity meets mindful recovery in one seamless experience.

At just R50, it’s not only a workout—it’s a reward. Participants who book and pay online receive a breakfast combo at Doppio Zero, including a bacon and egg roll or croissant with coffee or tea.

With space limited to 75 participants, early booking is essential. Just don’t forget your mat.

A Magical Moment for Little Minds

As the weekend unfolds, the focus shifts to creativity and imagination.

From 11:00 to 13:00 on Saturday, Exclusive Books hosts a free children’s reading and craft session inspired by The Very Hungry Caterpillar.

Designed for children aged 5 to 9, this interactive session blends storytelling with hands-on creativity—offering young minds a chance to explore, learn, and create in a warm, engaging environment. RSVP is required to secure a spot.

More Than a Mall

For Prianka Singh Rodgers, this weekend is about more than just events.

“March is about bringing people together,” she explains. “Whether it’s over a shared meal with great music, a high-energy workout, or an afternoon of stories and creativity, these experiences reflect what Clearwater Mall is all about—a place where the community connects and has a genuinely good time.”

Located in Roodepoort, Clearwater Mall continues to stand out as one of Johannesburg’s leading retail and lifestyle destinations—where shopping is just the beginning, and experiences take centre stage.
