Dating is already unpredictable. Put a group of comedians in the room to comment on every awkward pause, unexpected spark and romantic disaster, and things can get very entertaining very quickly.

That is exactly what Bravo Africa is promising with Season Three of Dating #NoFilter South Africa.

The hit comedy dating series returns to Bravo Africa (DStv 124) at 19:00 on Sunday, 18 October 2026, bringing a new cast of 20 commentators led once again by comedian, TV personality and actor Jason Goliath.

And if the first two seasons are anything to go by, South African dating is about to get a whole lot less private.

Goliath will be joined by a diverse line-up of comedians, entertainers, actors, musicians, presenters and content creators.

  • Carvin Goldstone — Comedian
  • Celeste Ntuli — Comedian

With such a wide-ranging group of personalities watching the action unfold, the dates are unlikely to escape scrutiny.

Blind dates. Real reactions. No filter.

Following the show’s successful debut in 2024 and its highly lauded second series in 2025, Season Three is set to turn the volume up.

The format remains centred on bold singles taking on blind dates while comedians provide real-time commentary on what happens in front of them.

That means viewers can expect everything from romantic mishaps and unusual icebreakers to uncomfortable chemistry and unexpected sparks.

Sometimes a date will go brilliantly right.

Other times, it will spectacularly go wrong.

Either way, the commentators will be watching.

From Durban to Cape Town and Johannesburg

Season Three is being filmed across Durban, Cape Town and Johannesburg, with production currently underway.

The three-city setting brings the dating journey into different South African environments while keeping the show’s signature combination of candid dating moments and comedic commentary at its centre.

The result is a season built around fresh faces, fresh flings and unexpected twists.

Bravo Africa backs local stories

For NBCUniversal, the new season is also part of a wider commitment to programming that connects with South African audiences.

Chrystele Fremaux, Senior Vice President Programming, EMEA Networks & International Direct-To-Consumer, NBCUniversal, says the third season reflects that commitment while continuing to deliver humour, authenticity and relatable entertainment.

The announcement follows the recent broadcast of Kickin’ it with Kim Jayde – Broadcast Edition on Bravo Africa, further showcasing the channel’s focus on homegrown and local talent.

Tata Motors joins the dating journey

Season Three also has a new headline sponsor.

Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles is the headline sponsor of Dating No Filter: South Africa Season 3, with Tata vehicles featuring throughout the dating journey.

Contestants will travel to and from their dates in Tata vehicles, creating space for candid in-car conversations and first reactions — moments that form a signature part of the series.

The season will also feature the on-screen debut of Tata’s all-new SUV, 1.2l Turbo Osprey, which will be part of the contestants’ dating experiences throughout the season.

Stretton’s Gin and Telkom join the season as associate partners.

From an American hit to an African adaptation

Dating #NoFilter South Africa is produced by Brainstorm Entertainment Media for NBCUniversal International Networks & DTC.

The series is a local adaptation of the successful Dating #NoFilter format, which originally aired on E! in the United States.

The African version is the fourth international adaptation of the format.

Globally, Dating #NoFilter is distributed by NBCUniversal Formats, part of Universal Studio Group.

Mark the date

The countdown to Season Three has officially begun.

Dating #NoFilter South Africa Season Three premieres on Bravo Africa, DStv 124, at 19:00 on Sunday, 18 October 2026.

The season will run through to its finale on Sunday, 20 December 2026.

So, whether you watch for the romance, the awkward moments or the commentary that says exactly what everyone at home is thinking, one thing is certain:

South African dating is getting another round in the spotlight — and this time, nobody is holding back.
