SOUL SISTERS WITH JUDY BOUCHER AND ROBIN S
Date      Saturday, 27 September

Featuring international soul queens Judy Boucher and Robin S, and South Africa’s own divas Vicky Sampson, Karin Kortje, Andrea Fortuin and Jamali, Soul Sisters will unite on stage on Saturday, 27 September 2025 in GrandWest’s Grand Arena to deliver the best classic, timeless music to delight new and long-time fans. Judy Boucher (born in St Vincent in the Caribbean) is a reggae and R&B singer, who rose to fame in 1985 with her first solo song “Dreaming of a Little Island”, which went to the top of the reggae charts and was subsequently used as the Jamaica Tourist Board’s theme tune. She is best known for her international hit single “Can’t Be with You Tonight”, which reached number 2 on the UK singles chart in April 1987.

The album which followed, entitled “Can’t Be with You Tonight” changed this “ordinary country girl” into an international entertainer by the end of 1987.

She holds the record for being the first female from the Caribbean to have the longest stay in the national charts – 14 weeks that same year.

Born Robin Stone, the American singer and songwriter enjoyed success in the 1990s with house music singles. She has had three number one singles on the Billboard Hot Dance Club Play chart. In 1996 Robin released “Givin’ You All That I Got”, used in the movie Space Jam and featured on the soundtrack.

In 2016, Robin S collaborated with DJ Escape on the track “Shout It Loud”, which went to the top of the US dance chart.
