Living and Loving Beyond Disability – Celebrating Love and Disability

As February is known to be the month of love, it is important to remember our loved ones in the disabled community. Evac+Chair South Africa established by Gavin and Yvette Glass is proud to celebrate the disabled community as they are close to their hearts due to the essence of their business.

“We must also change the narrative around Valentine’s Day and also use it as a chance to  raise awareness and promote the message of inclusivity, love, and acceptance for people with disabilities” said Gavin Glass the CEO of Evac+Chair South Africa.

The aim is to break down the societal stigma surrounding disabilities and to encourage everyone to embrace the beauty of diversity and love in all forms. Through a series of events and activities, organizations and the general public should be intentional and showcase the remarkable resilience and strength of people with disabilities, who, despite the challenges they face, lead fulfilling lives filled with love and joy.

Living and loving beyond disability should present an opportunity that highlight the stories of individuals and couples with disabilities who have overcome the odds to find love and build meaningful relationships. As a result, the general public should have a series of events and workshops aimed at promoting inclusiveness and building a more inclusive society for all.

“We believe that love knows no boundaries, and that everyone deserves the right to love and be loved, regardless of their abilities,” said Gavin Glass, CEO of Evac+Chair. “We are thrilled to work towards creating a more inclusive and loving world for people with disabilities.”

Evac+Chair encourages everyone to spread the message of love and acceptance far and wide through kind gestures such as installing rails in homes, respecting the designated areas for those who are living with a disability, to name a few.
