Under Armour Releases First Carbon Plated Run Shoe

“Faster, further, lighter” – these are the words that come to mind when selecting a running shoe that will ultimately have you effortlessly flying past the competition, right? Well, Under Armour listened, and being at the forefront of technological footwear development, they have successfully launched a brand new product that is set to bring out the elite athlete in us all, available in SA on 18 May 2023.

With major advancements in material innovation, infrared technology, carbon plate and midsole geometry; as well as lightweight, resilient, high-energy returning foam, Under Armour have paved the way for a new landscape when bringing forth the FLOW Velociti Elite, proudly known as their ‘fastest running shoe’ that aims to give you the speed you need to take you to the next level!

The FLOW Velociti Elite is a running shoe that flows with you. It is designed in such a manner that allows for you to have a higher responsive rate and a more cushioned ride with every stride. Manufactured from recycled materials this revolutionary running shoe boasts high-tech features making it one of their best creations to date.

The FLOW Velociti Elite Running Show Showcases the following features:

  • Warp 2.0 with upper optimised containment which provides the right amount of impact protection
  • Lightweight lockdown & maximum breathability
  • 360° reflectivity provides added visibility in low-light runs
  • Evenly distributes pressure to provide the runner with a soft step-in feel
  • A full-length thermoset carbon plate that was engineered for the perfect ‘snappy sensation’, giving off a light, fast, explosive feel
  • TPE sock liner that provides enhanced resiliency & bounce on every foot strike
  • Warp Technology used in the upper, to the tongue; to the sockliner, heel construction and laces
  • The outsole material is super-durable & increases ground traction
