Blend Your Own Wine And Celebrate The Start Of The Harvest!

It’s harvest time and for the next month, you can celebrate the journey from vine to wine with a personalised experience at Durbanville Hills.

Join on a Wednesday or Thursday evening or spend your weekend in the company of fine wine as the cellar will open its doors for a sneak peek behind the harvest scene and what it takes to make our award-winning wine.

Cellar tour and must-tasting

After a welcoming glass of Durbanville Hills’ sparkling wine, the cellar tour will offer a glimpse into the winemaking process and the enormous team effort it takes to make wine. Taste the fermenting juice directly from the tanks and sample wines, like our winemakers do, directly from the barrel.

Blend your own wine!

After a short wine blending tutorial, where you will learn how certain cultivars and wine styles harmonise better than others, you will blend and cork your own red wine to take home.

Exquisite food

The evening events will conclude with a two-course dinner paired with wines from the Collectors Reserve range at the cellar’s award-winning restaurant, The Tangram. The Saturday harvest experience includes a tapas-style lunch at The Olive Grove with a complimentary bottle of wine.
