Talented actor, singer, and model Dylan Majavie is thrilled to announce the release of his new single, “Nobody,” from his highly anticipated debut album, “Dear Bestie.”
Known for his big hair and an even bigger heart, Dylan is making waves in the music industry with this fresh and inspiring track.
“Nobody is my love letter to myself,” says Dylan. “It’s about giving yourself credit for how far you’ve come and navigating life’s challenges.”
The song encourages self-acknowledgement and embracing life’s hurdles as part of becoming your best self. “This single is a celebration of self-love, self-awareness, and self-confidence,” he adds.
The Cape Town-based media musician and media personality (29), who was born in Lavender Hill and now residing in Mitchells Plain, recently went from promoting artists to becoming one himself with the release of his first single Touched by Love last year, and now his second single release: “Nobody”.
Inspired by his own life experiences, Dylan found the creative process of writing “Nobody” – fun and introspective. “It was about diving within myself and realizing I have a relatable story to tell,” he explains.
Dylan wrote and recorded the single in just one month. The production was handled by Clayton Damon, known as Soulful Clay, at Blue Beam Studios. “Clayton is a visionary and so talented. Working with him is always fun,” Dylan remarks.
The song’s unique beat and sound elements are designed to make listeners want to dance. “I hope listeners celebrate themselves and their daily challenges through this song,” says Dylan. While he plans a music video, it will follow the release of more songs from “Dear Bestie.”
Currently, Dylan is working on his next single for the album and is open to future collaborations.
Reflecting on his artistic growth, he feels “grateful and proud” of his progress, especially after winning Mr. Diversity 2022 and now competing in Mr. South Africa 2024.

While Nobody is making waves on the SA music scene, he hopes to release his much-anticipated debut album later this year.
