Hyde Park Corner has long been recognised as a destination for timeless style and premium shopping, and this July, it continues that tradition with the Yarn by Design Expo. Running in Centre Court until 31 July, the free exhibition offers visitors an immersive journey through beautifully styled interiors featuring some of the country’s most respected décor, textile and lifestyle brands.

Designed to inspire homeowners, interior enthusiasts and lovers of craftsmanship alike, the expo transforms Centre Court into a series of elegant living spaces where creativity and local design take the spotlight.

A Curated Showcase of South African Creativity

The Yarn by Design Expo brings together an impressive collection of South African brands, each contributing its own distinctive style and craftsmanship.

Throughout the exhibition, visitors can explore curated displays featuring:

  • Hunter Gatherer
  • Cabbages & Roses
  • The Silk and Cotton Co
  • La Grange
  • Mavromac
  • Gatehouse

Adding another dimension to the exhibition, MaXhosa Lifestyle presents a dedicated section that remains on display for the entire duration of the expo, showcasing the brand’s signature design aesthetic.

Together, the featured exhibitors celebrate the richness and diversity of South African interior design through furniture, textiles and homeware presented in carefully styled environments.

A Fresh Experience From 20 July

The exhibition evolves during its run, offering visitors another reason to return.

From 20 July, sections of the Centre Court installation will be refreshed with a new display, giving guests the opportunity to discover additional creative interpretations from the participating designers while maintaining the MaXhosa Lifestyle showcase throughout the event.

This changing exhibition ensures the experience remains dynamic, highlighting different design perspectives and inspiring fresh ideas for contemporary living.

Where Design Meets Everyday Living

Rather than displaying individual products in isolation, the Yarn by Design Expo presents complete living spaces that demonstrate how furniture, fabrics and décor can work together harmoniously.

The exhibition offers inspiration for anyone looking to refresh their home while celebrating the creativity of South African designers and artisans.

Whether visitors are searching for decorating ideas, appreciating exceptional craftsmanship or simply enjoying beautifully designed interiors, the expo provides a welcoming space to explore local talent in an accessible shopping environment.

A Destination for Design Inspiration

Hyde Park Corner has built its reputation around offering discerning shoppers premium brands and exceptional experiences.

The Yarn by Design Expo continues that tradition by bringing together established South African names in one curated showcase, allowing visitors to experience the quality, innovation and artistry that define the country’s growing design industry.

With free entry and a constantly evolving display, the exhibition offers something new with every visit.
