One involves getting your body moving. The other involves searching through rails and tables for something you never knew you needed.
From a double workout at CG Fit Club to three days of pre-loved, second-hand and vintage treasures at the CG Thrift Fest Spring Edition, CapeGate is bringing movement, style and discovery together for a lively spring weekend.
Start Saturday With CG Fit Club
Saturday, 26 September is set to begin on an energetic note as CG Fit Club returns with a double workout designed to get participants moving before the weekend properly gets going.
The session starts with a 45-minute high-energy Dance class.
Then it switches gears.
Participants will move into a 45-minute Pilates Align session, combining movement, stretching and strengthening.
Together, the two sessions create a morning of different forms of movement, with plenty of opportunity to work up a sweat and leave feeling good.
The workout starts at 10h00 in the undercover parking at Entrance 6 of CapeGate Shopping Centre.
Tickets cost R60 per person, and spaces are limited, so booking ahead is recommended.
There is also a little something waiting after the workout.
Every participant will receive a complimentary KAUAI smoothie voucher to enjoy once the session is done.

Then Go Hunting For A Pre-Loved Gem
While one part of the weekend is about movement, another is all about the thrill of the find.
The CG Thrift Fest Spring Edition returns to CapeGate from Friday, 25 September to Sunday, 27 September 2026.
For three days, Centre Court will become a destination for shoppers looking through pre-loved, second-hand and vintage treasures.
There will be clothing, accessories and unexpected discoveries waiting to be uncovered.
And that is exactly what makes thrifting so much fun.
You can arrive looking for one thing and leave with something completely different.
For dedicated thrifters, it is a chance to search for pieces with plenty of life and style still left in them.
For curious shoppers, it offers an opportunity to explore a different kind of retail experience.
It can also be a way to refresh a spring wardrobe without restricting the search to what is currently available on traditional shop floors.
The appeal is in the hunt.
You simply do not know what will be waiting on the next rail or table.
Three Days To Browse
Entry to the CG Thrift Fest Spring Edition is free, leaving shoppers with more room in the budget for the find that catches their eye.
Maybe it is a vintage jacket.
Perhaps it is a statement accessory.
Or it could be an unexpected bargain that was never part of the original shopping plan.
The event runs across three days, with different Sunday closing times.

Two Ways To Make The Most Of September
CapeGate’s September line-up offers two distinctly different ways to spend the weekend.
You can start with a Dance and Pilates Align workout, followed by a KAUAI smoothie.
Or you can spend hours browsing through pre-loved and vintage pieces, waiting for that one item that makes the search worthwhile.
And there is nothing stopping the weekend from including both.
With CG Fit Club on Saturday, 26 September and the CG Thrift Fest Spring Edition running from 25 to 27 September, CapeGate is giving the northern suburbs a spring weekend built around movement, discovery and a little retail treasure hunting.
Sometimes the best weekend plans are the ones that give you something to do — and something to find.
