Fundamentals Skincare Celebrates Its Third Birthday & Launches New Ageing Powerhouse Serum

Changing the narrative when it comes to skincare has always been at the centre of Fundamentals Skincare, a South African born skincare company, since inception three years ago. With September being the birthday month for the brand it poses the perfect time to reiterate this message. Not only will there be amazing birthday deals and an awesome Sip & Shop experience for all Johannesburg residents, but the brand will also be announcing its brand new Peptides serum, which aims to promote positive connotations when it comes to ageing and how the process can be a for filling and beautiful one.

Natasha Davel from Fundamentals Skincare said, “The launch of our Peptides serum aims to remind people that ageing is normal, natural and inevitable. With that being said, ageing should not be perceived as a dreaded unstoppable definite but rather a process that can be slowed down with treating your skin good as well as a rewarding and nostalgic experience.”

The new 10% Peptides serum from Fundamentals Skincare is a highly concentrated water-based peptide serum to address the formation of fine lines and wrinkles. The hero ingredients in this product are (1) Aectyl Hexapeptide-8 which is used widely in cosmetics and personal care products for its potential anti-ageing properties. It is primarily employed as a topical alternative to Botox, aiming to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles caused by facial muscle contractions. Its companion in this effective serum is (2) Niacinamide, also called nicotinamide, and is a form of vitamin B3. It helps build keratin, a protein that maintains skin health. It’s also been shown to make your skin stronger, smoother and brighter. Niacinamide is used to treat acne and can help nourish and protect your skin, especially when it’s used with other products like retinol.

“This is a powerhouse product in a 30ml bottle that could change the way we look at ourselves year-on-year. The trick to ageing is firstly to embrace the process and then start with your ageing skincare routine as early as possible. Dermatologists recommend you start as early as age 25. This will help nourish and maintain your skin for longer and slow the process down for you – making it easy, digestible and positive.

In addition, ageing is not what it used to be 20 years ago. Nowadays, there are so many options available to repair your ageing skin and also help you with the process from micro-needling, laser and Botox. Similarly, skincare has also advanced in leaps and bounds with Peptides taking the world by storm. A new era of advanced peptides is providing gentle yet powerful targeted solutions for a range of skin concerns.

“Maintaining radiant, youthful skin goes beyond reducing wrinkles: As we age, the skin on our face, neck, and body loses firmness due to a decline in collagen and elastin. It is therefore recommended that your skincare routine changes with the changes of your skin, is holistic and reasonable,” concluded Daval.

You can shop the brand new Peptides Serum on www.fundamentals-skincare.co.za from today as well as explore the entire range of face and body products at affordable prices.
