Accomplished singer, songwriter, Jimmy Nevis has dropped his latest track ‘AYO’ just in time to turn up the heat at every summer party.

The message is simple – feel free to explore and “let it all hang out”. It’s a song that heralds a new era of sound for Nevis, who celebrates 10 years in the music industry as a household name this year, delivering hits like Heartboxing, 7764, Elephant Shoes and Balloon.

In his upcoming album, due for release in January 2023, Nevis updates his fans on his musical direction and personal journey, as he turns 30. “’AYO ‘is a play on words, for those who get it. It’s about being unapologetic and allowing yourself to be free,” Nevis explains. “It’s the season of YOU – to not give a damn what anybody thinks and put yourself first. Be open to life and all its beautiful possibilities.”

Summer is a time to play and Nevis hopes ‘AYO’ will inspire fans to make this season their own, regardless of what the world thinks.

“The song also talks about feeling like you aren’t the person you want to be in your head but giving yourself full permission to go ahead and be that person. Make this your ‘AYO’ summer.”
