What if the next woman to grace the digital cover of GLAMOUR South Africa wasn’t a celebrity, influencer or professional model—but someone whose confidence, authenticity and life story inspire those around her every day?

That question lies at the heart of the Revlon x GLAMOUR Unforgettable Cover Girl Search, a nationwide campaign that officially launches on 8 July 2026. The collaboration between Revlon South Africa and GLAMOUR South Africa celebrates the arrival of the new Revlon PhotoReady™ Collection while creating an opportunity for an everyday South African woman to step into the spotlight.

More than a beauty competition, the campaign is designed to celebrate real women, real confidence and the stories that make them unforgettable.

A New Face for GLAMOUR South Africa

For the first time, GLAMOUR South Africa is opening its digital cover to an everyday South African woman through a national public search.

Instead of asking women to transform themselves, the campaign embraces authenticity by encouraging participants to celebrate who they already are.

The initiative reflects a shared belief between Revlon and GLAMOUR that confidence is one of the most powerful forms of beauty.

Heather Goate, Marketing Director at Revlon South Africa, says the campaign extends far beyond launching a new makeup collection.

“For generations, Revlon has championed women who express themselves with confidence, individuality and authenticity. The launch of the PhotoReady™ Collection gave us the opportunity to create something that goes beyond beauty. We wanted to partner with GLAMOUR to celebrate real South African women by giving one of them a platform traditionally reserved for public figures. This campaign is about recognising the confidence women already possess and celebrating the stories that make them unforgettable.”

Celebrating Stories That Matter

GLAMOUR South Africa says the campaign aligns perfectly with its commitment to highlighting women whose stories inspire others.

Editor-in-Chief Nontando Mposo believes confidence has always been at the centre of the publication’s identity.

“At GLAMOUR, we’ve always believed that confidence is one of the most beautiful things a woman can wear. Through this partnership with Revlon, we’re inviting everyday South African women to become part of the GLAMOUR story. We are excited to celebrate women whose journeys inspire others and to create a cover that reflects the authenticity, diversity and confidence of women across our country.”

How to Enter the Cover Girl Search

Women from across South Africa are invited to enter by sharing an unforgettable moment that has helped shape who they are or by telling the story of a dream they are determined to achieve.

One entrant will be selected to become GLAMOUR South Africa’s next digital Cover Girl, receiving an experience designed to celebrate both her story and her confidence.

What the Winner Will Receive

The winning entrant will enjoy an unforgettable editorial experience, including:

  • A professional makeover using the new Revlon PhotoReady™ Collection
  • A professional GLAMOUR South Africa editorial photoshoot
  • A feature on the digital cover of GLAMOUR South Africa
  • National exposure through the Revlon x GLAMOUR campaign

More Than a Beauty Campaign

The Revlon x GLAMOUR Unforgettable Cover Girl Search represents more than the launch of a new beauty collection.

It reflects a growing movement towards celebrating authenticity, self-expression and confidence by giving everyday women the opportunity to tell their stories on one of South Africa’s leading lifestyle platforms.

By opening its digital cover to an everyday South African woman, GLAMOUR South Africa and Revlon are recognising that unforgettable stories exist far beyond the worlds of fame and celebrity.

Entries officially open on 8 July 2026.

Women interested in participating can find more information and submit their entries through the Revlon x GLAMOUR Unforgettable Cover Girl competition platform.
